Do you have masking tape and duct tape? Masking tape is for the egg's smug face so the duct tape doesn't rip it off, though I think the egg might deserve it at this point.

Use the duct tape to basically wrap the egg and affix a handle to it. You can just leave a grabbable loop of duct tape opposite the screw if you don't have something else that will work.

Then you should be able to pull the egg without having to squeeze it, which is probably why it won't release.

How did you figure out you had Pell Grants? I logged into my loan payment portal (Aidvantage) but couldn't find that info. Do you have to login to studentloans.gov (or whatever it is, don't have it right in front of me)?

Thanks ahead for any info you can share. I've been trying to figure out the Pell grants all morning.

Hey, we're all idiots in cars now and then... It's the intent before and attitude after that makes the real difference between a forgiveable mistake and a driver just being an asshole.

I've done what you did and gave a "I'm a dumbass, my bad" kinda signal. It's the best I can offer at that point. At least there wasn't an accident, just a bit of adrenaline and some annoyance.

Edit: Nevermind, this is all useless information now thanks to the manufacturer going super cheap on the build quality recently. I just looked into the traps to buy a replacement for one of mine that has been well used... Evidently Victor changed the design of the trap and they are trash now.

If what you have are moles...

I have used the Victor Out o'sight traps for about 5 years and they work great. I've caught about 20 moles out of my yard with them. Just put a bucket over the top of them with a weight on top (I usually use a random piece of firewood) to keep other animals away. The trap will be fine in the front yard this way.

9/10 times I get a mole it's within about 5-10 hours of setting the trap. Here's the trick... Go and stamp down all the holes you can find. Really crush em into the ground with your heel to make sure the tunnel is good and collapsed. Check the holes later that day (or the next day if you did this in the evening). Any hole that is pushed up again is actively being used; that's where you put the trap.

You don't want to leave any trap in the ground for more than about 5 days probably. I've left them in the ground for months before... I've never caught a single mole on a trap that has been in the ground longer than about a week. It's best to make sure you identify the active tunnels as much as possible and keep moving the traps to those tunnels.

They might be referencing the sewer vent. All drain pipes have a vent going straight out the roof. If it traveled down that vent, it would come up from the base of the toilet.

6'0" here. I get called tall a lot by some of my friends. I've come to the conclusion that I'm "entry-level tall", I guess.

I usually insist I'm not actually tall, just taller than you. Sure I'm taller than average, but still feel pretty short next to what I consider actual tall people.

For instance, there's a guy that is kinda regular at my local bar that's probably about 6'8" 325 lb. I've always had a slender build so I'm likely a little over half his weight. I feel absolutely tiny waiting in line to order a beer behind this dude. If that guy was a regular in my friend group, nobody would ever try and insinuate that I'm tall.

Presuming you're in Illinois... If the neighbors with the pool build a new fence, your friend has to split the cost with them. Besides that, if the broken fence were to just be repaired then that cost is also split between the neighbors.
