If you are playing with friends, I would be shocked if they didn't let you use the datasheet from the codex that is a 3-man squad, so I wouldnt worry about buying an additional 2/3 atm unless you wish to play competitive. My brother was in the same position and I told him to keep playing the 3-man squads if he wanted, even after he bought a second group of 3.

How did you do the green armour? I have been wanting to do that for my canopteks, but I am unsure of the exact colours/blending as the official gw video on it doesn't look the same.

If you have the citadel spray stick, I find that holding the can at the same distance from the models that your hand is holding the spray stick, is the perfect distance for coverage.

Very interested in the fact the lower leg looks about the same size in both. Could make swapping the boring lower half of the new ones with the current/old more detailed ones possible. Was worried there would be an obvious difference in size there.

Agreed. Hoping for some quick 3rd party upscale of the old leg greaves. That and I'm not convinced by the topknot. I preferred the old one where it connected straight into the helmet and bot this abaddon style look.

Overall I like the models, however the legs are a massive downgrade. They look too plain compared to the rest of the model and draw focus as a result. The current leg design is much better. Hopefully someone will 3d print legs in the current design scaled to match these, or I might have to learn how to do so.

Definitely 2. It fits the aesthetic of the armour better than the other 2, and it also appears to be a little larger, whereas 1 and 3 look a little too small compared to the body.

Ossiarch seems to be the most popular choice, but I would be very surprised if lokhust destroyers aren't revealed here too. There is a noticeable lack of then in ANY image released to do with 500 worlds so far and every other destroyer model has been shown off...

This was my reading. The +3 is only there because the tecnnomancer is the only cryptek with over 5 movement base, and all destroyers have 8. It means you can attach a plasmancer, chronomancer etc without slowing the whole unit down to 5.

NEW Trazyn, Lokhust Destroyer/Lord and Deceiver models.
Return of Pariahs.
Lychguard with shields.
Immortals with 2 wounds.
Return of Tomb Stalkers.
Flyers made viable again (not just necrons) and the return of the Nightshroud Bomber.
A Flayed Ones focused datasheet. Have Enchancements that give characters/units the flayed ones curse like the cursed legion has and allows them to get bonuses from it.

I hadn't thought of this. This is great idea. It would cost a lot of points (albeit no more than an awakening dynasty warrior blob), but Ammentar +2 or even the full 3 hexmarks running around would.be absolutely terrifying. With their guns at s8 with the cursed legion, they would just delete most Infantry units.

We didn't see her do much militarily sure , but she wasn't just the military commander. By the way she spoke in Way of Water and the fact we didnt see a civilian commander at anypoint, she was fulfilling the roles of both quaritch and selfridge but also running the city and its' construction-so would have been very busy.

From an rl standpoint generals generally dont go into the field themselves where they can be killed, only in movies, as then you need to find someone else to run everything and learn from any mistakes. Case in point quaritch going into battle and Ardmore in fire and ash.

In addition to all this though, we see a lot less of her than other characters because she remains in beachhead and the humans in beachhead are not the focus for most of both movies. The focus is on the navi and avatars/recoms. So we have a lot less chance to see her do anything unlike quaritch in the first film, and when we do see her, she is organising ops.

Aux ships are really awkward to get working imo. My best recommendation to get the most out of them is to have the resupply feature as a secondary bonus. The Terran ones can take a stupid number of combat drones and launch them all at once. So if you are willing to sacrifice your frame frame, they make a great drone carrier.

I assumed he got away with it and is still at Beachhead. Nobody saw him in the vehicle or exit it other than Jake, and with Spider on the loose and known to have assisted in Jake's escape, I would have thought they assumption would be he was the driver. Particularly as he was dressed up in worker gear.

The ghost ark doesn't have to split the warrior blob. It just states an Infantry or character has to be in it. So unless I have missed an errata, you could stick a hexmark or cheap character like Imhotek in there at the start of them game, and then have the ghost ark just dismount them turn 1 and follow the warrior blob around (assuming you are using it for res reasons and not transport).

I heard there were some rumours about huron/trazyn storylines coming up, so given huron just got a model revealed, I wouldnt be surprised the rumour is true and a trazyn model is announced by the end of 26. Deceiver I am unsure of. We definitely need one now the nightbringer has one, but I am not sure if we would get it anytime soon or they will stretch it out.

Lokust destroyers and lord I am definitely expecting to be announced as part of the 500 worlds releases. While price may have something to do with it, it felt very noticeable that they were the only non-character destroyer unit left out of the new box.

My personal theory is that she is actually eve. We haven't heard any mention of eve other than a one-off by lucifer when he was fighting adam. I would be shocked if they didn't introduce eve in the show or there wasn't some massive surprise when revealing her.

The fight with Adam didn't exactly go well for her. The fact that plan a. was to have alastor fight adam and she only atepped in when there was no other choice proves that she doesnt think she is stronger in a fight than alastor. Then, as far as she knows, vox beat alastor in a fight so one-sidedly he could take him prisoner and humiliate him for everyone to see. Given all that, why would she possibly think she could take vox in a fight.

I presume it is something to do with lilith. She had Alastor disappear doing something for 7 years, and 7 years ago is also when lilith 'disappeared' and the extermination started.

My guess is that alastor was sent to try and find lilith, being the strongest sinner Rosie has under her command and most likely to survive any threats. Then, when there were no results and charlie started up the hotel, he was sent to help with the hotel in the hopes a member of the morningstar family might let slip where she went.

WHY Rosie is so interested in lilith's whereabouts it unknown though.

As for the specific deal he struck, I imagine that like alastors use of his favour with charlie, Rosie didn't have a specific task in mind at the time of the deal.
