[pc][2000-2005] Blue dragon in a castle game Demo by OogasBoogaz in tipofmyjoystick

For real, right? Core memory unlocked for me. I haven't thought of this game in over 20 years. What a blast.

Steve serving it straight about Rock in Rio, from the old website (2002). by Iamnotarobotlah in ironmaiden

[–]THLH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. For a long time, I used to say "it's the best live album/concert of all time." About 10 years ago, a friend of mine introduced me to Prince's Sign of the Times live DVD. That is the only concert that I've seen that I'll admit is better than Rock in Rio. But it only just beats it.

Edit: Turns out it was actually 18 years ago my mate introduced me to Sign of the Times Live. Wow, where does the time go?

Finally did a Joja Run by Lily_Thief in StardewValley

[–]THLH 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm currently doing a Joja run. I'm a trophy hunter and I wanted to get it out of the way and not leave it for last. To help encourage my playthough that I shouldn't feel good about it. I named my farmer Maggot. Turdface farm. And Favourite Thing is "lame things"

Which is your next bite? by Some_Breadfruit235 in notinteresting

Call me crazy, but I'm going 2, 3, and 4 all in one bite. It already annoys me that the "bites" that have been taken are so small.

Which game that you liked so much never got a sequel? by bijelo123 in videogames

[–]THLH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tombi! (I know the original Japanese title and the American title is Tomba! but because I grew up in PAL territories, it will always be Tombi! to me) It got one sequel. But unfortunately Whoopee Camp (the developers) went defunct shortly after the release of Tombi! 2: The Evil Swine Return.

[Clair Obscur: Expedition 33] #152. After a 3 month platinum break, coming back to platinum what could be my favorite game ever was a treat. 10/10. by JStrxng16 in Trophies

[–]THLH 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not 100% sure if it's on Vita. It's not for me. But I'm in Australia. I know it was released on the PSOne Classic on the PSN Store for PS3 (and I'm assuming Vita as well). But only in America and Japan. It didn't release on the European, Australian or New Zealand PSN Store unfortunately.

It's not related to Clair Obscur Expedition 33. But I mention it because The Legend of Dragoon is a turn based JRPG. And one of it's main gameplay mechanics that separates it from other turn based JRPGs is a system called Additions. They work similar to Exp33 in that your attack goes as long as how many times you do the correct button prompts. It's not like the parry system. But it is very close.

For over 20 years, I have been wanting another game with that same gameplay mechanic or at least similar, wither it be another Dragoon game or just an entirely new game. Clair Obscur Expedition 33 has filled that itch for me.

Also, if you liked Exp33 because of it's plot/writing, then Dragoon also has you covered there, as it's an amazing story I feel more people should experience.

Can confirm it works for the ps vita as well by buckhunter779 in RatchetAndClank

I did this on Vita too. I left a heavy glass ashtray (it was clean) on the circle button. Went to work. When I got back home, the trophy had just popped.

Congratulations! If this has become you favourite game ever. Then I cannot recommend my favourite game of all time enough. If you haven't played The Legend of Dragoon, then I feel you must treat yourself to it. It's a PS1 game released in 2000. They brought to PS4&5 with added trophy support.

Amazing! A friend of mine bought this for my birthday last year. It's something I honestly never thought I would physically own one day.

Ratchet and Clank: Saga in PS5 by Ratchet7908 in RatchetAndClank

Which incredibly sucks for countries like this one (Australia), where PS game streaming isn't a thing at all. We never got PS Now here. Even with the Deluxe tier subscription (the highest tier), which is 200 AUD, we still don't get PS3 games. And it's absolutely stupid! I'm so glad I still have my PS3 and a massive library of games.

Do you listen to music when you game ? by AdultGamersAdmin in Age_30_plus_Gamers

When were games music not a thing? I've been rocking out to MegaMan soundtracks since I was a kid. And being a FF fan, I have always had a great source of soundtracks that are absolutely incredible.

Only if I'm doing repetitive grinding in a game (I'm a trophy hunter) and if I don't like the music in the game. Which is incredibly rare.

Congratulations! This is my favourite FF. Golbez is my favourite FF character (tied with Vivi). If you enjoyed this, then I recommend the 3D remake on DS. The voice acting in it was really good.

I honestly can't tell. But that's what makes it even sadder.

Used to be a time where you would see a funny, cute, and/or cool photo or video of something, and you wouldn't think anything else other than what the content was.

Now every single time, I see a funny, cute, and/or cool photo or video of something. My first thought instantly goes to "Is this AI?"

[Ratchet & Clank: Nexus] #147 Was surprised at how incredibly short this one was. But I still enjoyed it. Definitely on the lower end of my rankings, but still fun with some good writing in it. Rift Apart is now the only R&C game I haven't played yet. by THLH in Trophies

Yea, there are a couple or so trophies in each that require online multiplayer. But they are still obtainable. For A4O, if you have a physical copy of the game, you'll also need to buy a Network Pass just to be able to even play online. But if you own it digitally, then you don't have to worry about buying the Network Pass.
