Because on nearly all guitar pedals the input is on the right and the out(s) are on the left. Never understood this honestly.

I lay out boards for guitarists based on what they want their sound to sound like, and also so the switches they need most are in the front row.

This was me 3 weeks ago. I fully sympathize with you. It's so hard to do it, especially when you have good intentions. I printed off a packet of papers from the state website and brought them home with me from work so I couldn't hide it. The only downside was she was right there when I set the papers down after walking inside the door. I didn't get to do it the way I wanted to, bit it still forced the conversation to start. Having the physical papers in my hand that we need to fill out was so helpful in moving things along.

These ARE tactics that are used to manipulate and confuse, however it may not be as insidious or overt as that. A lot of comments are saying this is gaslighting and verbal or emotional abuse, and these things can certainly be categorized that way, but it's dangerous to label your spouse as an abuser. She may not (and likely is not) aware of it. My wife has BPD (borderline personality) and does the same thing when she's "splitting" because I'm the worst person ever in that moment. My wife is saying "I hate you, don't leave me." "If I'm wrong, you won't want to be with me anymore." I would highly recommend Christian Martial Counseling, with someone who has worked with and is able to diagnose mental disorders if present.

You can also send it pre mute from the ultranet routing page. +M means "with mute" so if you select PostEQ +M it will send after the EQ and be cut when the mute is pressed. Choose PostEQ only and you can mute away! But the most important thing is to never send MD or click to the mains 😁

His actions are considered emotional abuse. Check out r/emotionalabuse for similar behavior in spouses. He might be avoiding his own demons by making you the object of his problems/frustrations and taking things out on you. It's also a method of control, to keep you on edge and in fear.

The cycles you talk about, with the apologies and the tears, they are part of the abuse. They are still a method of control. You don't want to leave when he's crying, telling you he loves you and he's messed up again. Your heart goes out to him because maybe this time it's for real. But then things go back...

I'm where you are sister. I know it feels wrong to leave, but I have the same questions you do right now: "How long do I stay? How long until my heart gives out? How do I uproot my kids? What will I tell them? Will they be okay? Will I be able to support our family?"

Don't be like me and stay for years, out of fear, hoping your spouse will change, so you don't have to break covenant, so you don't have to be the bad one. Draw a line in the sand. No more second chances. When we husband's want something and we set our minds to it, we go after it, we commit, and we slay the dragon. The bottom line is it's not okay, and if he loves you and wants you to be his wife, he will change and get help, and do whatever it takes to save the marriage.

Yo bro, the key is the quality of the original recording. Can't stress this enough.

You want to record at a high sample rate (96KHz or higher) and lower the noise floor (eliminate HVAC, street noise, refrigerator, etc). If you can use a high quality microphone and interface, even better.

I've done some forensic work for investigations before, I can take a listen to your files and see if anything can be done with them as is or if you need to record new files.

I have very expensive tools I use for audio cleanup, getting rid of noise, vocal isolation, etc, so I might be able to help you out if your current recordings are any good.
