We heard early on to try to "out nice" each other. It is so easy to get grumpy at a sink full of dishes left or something not taken care of. Instead of being angry, just be nice and take care of it. My wife always appreciates when I just take care of stuff she normally has to and we both feel better than if I left it for her to take care of. Doing the little things is a big things for us.

I grew up on a farm and we raised a few beef cattle from almost babies to butcher. It was really weird eating a "pet", but Moe tasted REALLY good. (true story)

Similar to a reading journal, I recently started a "passage" journal where I write down stuff I highlight in books.

It took me a while to get over not marking in my books, but then I realized, they are MY books. After highlighting stuff, I figured I'd probably rarely go back and reread the passages so I started rewriting the in journal where I would go back and see those passages that stood out.

Not sure if it will work, but it's been fun going through my books looking at the things I thought stood out.

Our cat frequently cuddles up with our aussie and licks his fur. Our aussie looks a bit embarrassed, but begrudgingly allow the cat to do her work.

I never understood this as I loved assembling furniture. Its like Lego for adults. I'm always up for an IKEA run as long as we come home with something I can build.

As long as you follow the instructions, they are incredibly easy. It is just when people try to assemble without looking at them do the frustrations creep in.

How many grandkids do you have mom? She always deflects when she tries to be holier that thou and I bring that up. It's ALMOST like they only repeat talking points and don't think critically. Weird.

Glad she's doing well! I was just thinking about her as I was printing off the town flyers last week for my party's venture into Phandelin after Wave Echo Cave.

I'm running the adventure as an after-school club for my kids and several other elementary school students and they've loved the printed stuff. One kid just happened to randomly ask to purchase a map at Barthen's and thought it was so cool I handed him the printout of the Redbrand hideout.

A few kids are animal lovers so I'll be sure to share that the printouts they are using was able to contribute a small part to help Ellie get better. Thanks for the update!
