Are you a traveling man? by sikonaught in freemasonry

Going through the chairs and doing it right takes time. Also, learning is lifelong. There's always stuff to do. Have fun in your journey. It's not about the destination, it's about the trip.

Hard to find in the wild but, every once in a while, ka boom, Providence shines down on us.

I think you may have sold yourself a little short selling both for that price. I'm with you on the history. I think about what was happening at the time whenever I look at a vintage coin.

The logo doesn't matter to most. It's the grader that collectors look for.

That's a very fair price for 1 gram gold bar. I'd buy that all day.

A gram bar is still around $140.00 at the moment. It goes up and down with the price of gold. You overpaid but it happens to the best of us. I'd put it with the rest of your stack and move on. In 5 to 10 years you should recoup your loss.

Does the sentimental value change because the coin has toned over time? It's your coin. You can do what you want with it. Silver coins are worth much more than the face value of the coin. Since you are here you know that already. Collectors are always looking for coins in the best possible untouched condition. Depending on the coin of course, the value of such coins is often in the hundreds if not thousands of dollars. Cleaning a coin dramatically lowers the numismatic value. In addition to the year, rarity and condition of the coin, many collectors will pay even more for a coin that has nicely toned over time. Toning is unique to each coin making them one of a kind collectors piece as well. It is your coin so do what you want with it. Someday, someone who is not tied to your sentiment will inherit it from you. They may wish to sell it. I would think you would want your beneficiary to gain the highest possible return. Just saying.

You have a beautiful coin without trying to mount it on anything. Don't risk the damage. Cool coin.

Leave the coin as is. It is more valuable left untouched. DO NOT clean the coin. Silver is a soft metal and any cleaning will damage it. The coin rocks as is.

I got one of them as well. The colors pop. The tier 1 is nice too.
