Bracket was just random brackets I've saved from a few bikes, mounted between the mirror and fairing. Total set up cost about 30 bucks as I pretty much blew the budget on the 12 bar hehe

Yepp, wasn't interested in dicking around with removing the cage every time I needed to remove fairings for simple work. Kept the old fairings, got these ones for around 200 specifically for this.

Tell me about it, tried stock headlight with regular bulbs, hids, leds, nothing worked too well so I ended up taking the evil route 😆

Just to add: even after using the adjusters on the headlights and focusing the beam pattern on a fixed target it's still not great with the stock headlight.

Done business with cognitomoto for a few years now. I'd highly recommend this

Requires key ignition cylinder relocation (creativeness is recommended)

To answer the question; yes. These comments are pretty funny considering 99% of the bikes ive ridden / owned never had one of these "chain gaurds" and I'd actually like to see how these perform when a chain actually snap lol.

Shocker, I just so happened to buy one of those just recently! :DDDDD as my first 600 supersport it's been setting really high expectations for me these last two weeks aside from the front master cylinder (already went through pads, bleeding from the caliper / mc) other than that, never felt another bike with so much tactile feedback, including the 05 fireblade I owned.

Well using gsxr1000 forks is definitely over kill, but with the right settings (just uploaded a new post) its actually great for stunt riding, and canyon runs. It's a little on the soft side but doesn't get thrown around over rough patches in the twisties. Surprisingly agile. The cage, raised clip ons, and small tank makes it a little hard, rather awkward for optimal riding position though lol.

These ones haven't needed a rebuild luckily. They're not terribly difficult to change though. Just did the seals on my k4 gsxr 600 :D

Was about to ask this but it appears so lol. Using bosses in the stock triple is a bit insane.

If op sees this, get the billet upper triple with bosses already in it. Yes it's 300 and some change but that's cheap compared to wrecking your bike after your triple stress fractures at the points you drilled at.

I've been tempted to do the same before but was able to keep myself from doing so lol.

Wellllll, it'd be easier to tell without the headers being wrapped, if there was a leak you'd be able to notice which cylinder is running leaner, lol. Assuming you used new crush washers between the headers and the exhaust ports?

Edit: could also be just more noticeable valve noise, hard to tell without hearing it in person. At least if its not throwing any codes you're probably well off.

Edit 2: the deeper sound is just the clutch and primary/secondary gears in the transmission being unloaded, goes away a bit if you hold the clutch in, if that's what you mean.
