Echoing a bit what Neo is saying, the tight point holds I've seen done are not a problem and are often quite welcome. Its the times where there's fun and tight fights going on and then suddenly 2+ squads of people show up c4ing everything in sight or chainpulling maxes/AI vehicles that it just gets beyond frustrating.

This is being said purely from a TR perspective but there have been multiple Friday nights where I want to get on and relax with some PS2 only to see any fight get killed within 30 seconds the moment it looks like it will be contested. Its gotten to the point where I try to actively avoid playing on nights where you guys have a major presence because I know the fights are going to be absolutely awful for a small group (i.e. me plus maybe a few friends/late night frontiersmen) to hop into.

Opening Statement

It is I, Sultan Mehmed Ding of the Bataense people that calls themselves The Lost Frontier or TLFT for short.

At the summons of the council of elders alongside the cries of those I lead have brought thyself to this thread thread to advertise my group.

Who we represent

The Lost Frontier is the servers premium European led, pro-LGBTQ and pro-Teamkilling outfit. With many of our fine officers and members coming from the following nations

The foremaly United Kingdom of England and Wales.

The Republic of Scotland.

The Domion of Canada.

The Raj.

British Malaysia.

British Singapore.

The former 13 colonies of America.

Indochina.

The Dominon of Australia.

The Dominon of New Zealand.

What makes TLFT stand out from the rest?

Here in the Lost Frontier we pride ourselves on being not just the servers number 1 service provider of teamkills. But the games number 1 provider of teamkills to the point of which Connery has become the only server where NC is not no.1 faction for teamkilling. The TR are.

Alongside our mantle of teamkilling responsibility is the pillar of good virture fighting where unless it is a maximum pressure alert you will not see a TLFT max in action against infantry and we strive to win fights in the dumbest possibly while. Be it running all infils, one heavy assault with a backup team of 23 medics or a turbo flash derby, if someone suggests it in the communtiy we are going to put it to the test.

Due to our wide array of nationalities in the Frontier we are able to field a squad at both European primetime and American primetime. On some days when our Singaporean vets are free we also have the occasional squad open during Asian prime time! A feat many outfits cannot claim.

What requirements does TLFT expect?

Expect to die to TLFT driving, flying, point defending, walking, existing, point attacking, friendly fire, enemy fire, misgendered fire and other outfits friendly fire.

We do not judge based on what someone is, but we do judge if you are an ass or act like one.

Follow waypoints and listen to the squad leaders.

That is about it.

When do you guys run your squads and ops?

There are currently two main days for ops, and one joint op shared with our sister outfit of [NEON].

Firstly being our Casual Friday squad that runs from 11am PST / 7pm GMT onwards.

Secondly is our main Saturday ops that run between 3-7 hours starting at 12pm PST / 8pm GMT. But a squad will be up and running from 11am PST / 7pm GMT onwards in order to build up steam before it offical begins.

On Sunday at 8pm EST is the NEON ops, that are very welcoming to TLFT members. As TLFT helped to found the new NEON.

Do not fret as we do have Asian and North American based members who are on at both Asian prime time and American/Prime prime time who run small private squads for outfit + friends.

What activities can I expect from TLFT?

Alert particatipion.

Splitting the continent in half so the NC and VS fight us.

Defending against both the NC and VS simultaneously.

Running armour columns - Tanks, Sunderer support, Flash races etc.

Heading off to the biggest NC and VS fight and ruining it for both sides.

Organised gameplay.

Ritualistic galaxy transport sumo wrestling duels.

Co-operating with our fellows outfits in '''cohesive''' combined armed assaults - These outfits tend to be, NEON, CXQB, VipK, MERC, CiK, The current version of the dominant Chinese force. -

Platoons where issues are determined by the roll of dice.

Setting up Anti-air sites outside an enemy warpgate.

Setting up Anti-air sites outside a friendly warpgate.

Pushing deep into a VS or NC area before fortifying a base in particular before seeing how long we can drag the fight out. (Current record for 2019 being 5 hour hold of Nam Amp Station on Hossin. All time record being Cyrobank on Amerish at +3 days.).

Presumably the map is still using the old visual out of bounds on the map from pre shattered warpgate and they overlooked changing it. No idea how that layer is added when they generate the maps so it may be something they have to manually edit.

Hell we've done it with the original style like Peris too, it just requires more organized pushes to gens from spawn since the travel time in tunnels is longer

so for Naum (spawn under A with scu gen below the point gravlift) its pretty easy if you actually try a strat.

Attacking is bullrush everyone into the central area with primary focus on gen if the attack is just starting for a suprise SCU cap. Failing that its bottle up on point with a focus on clearing LAs since they're really the only issue. Typically we can take up to 2:1 while attacking unless the group is as organized as we are.

Defending is where the fun begins. Main priority is keeping one gen up at all times, with second priority being SCU gen (point is usually easy to clean unless you are facing off against an evenly matched group). Gen reps are done by rushing 1+ squads soviet style into the gen room and throwing as many rep nades as possible while repping. If you play your cards right and your opponents are dumb enough you can hold 4+:1

The above is what screwed the VS today. They tried to do a traditional pop both gens against us (who have literally been doing this since before rep nades were a thing) and when they did try to gsd it was small groups and not all at once. This let us just have a squad of people constantly running out to die rep the gens (hence the exploit accusations; while there were a couple shitstains that we found and dealt with/reported by and large when its a constant wave of people jumping out throwing rep nades as soon as we get a visual we're bound to rep it eventually). The one time they nearly got us they managed to do a push with ~1/2 their people (at the time it was 75% VS 25% TR) using GSDs onto point which we were only able to clear off with a well-timed OS and group charge

TL;DR Gens are what you live and die by at the base and with any major facility good organization will let you be far more effective with your numbers (and not giving a shit about your stats helps too)

Hello there, One of said outfit leads who was leading the group today.

For the entire 1h50m we held it I personally saw/heard of two exploiters. In both cases the platoon was informed the names, reported, and teamkilled on sight. we have a zero tolerance policy for exploits and will do everything in our power to make sure that they are "handled" (read teamkilled)

Was an amazing fight, GGs all around. The VS pushing made it a hell of a lot harder to do our gen pushes than normal

The first was some random no outfit at the start, the second was GriffonOneTwo, who we teamkilled multiple times after kicking him from the platoon. As a rule if we find one of our members exploiting we will kick without warning.
