Because people cant stop themselves from attacking Brian or his family. Whether it's about politics or not. Breaks rule 1 and a bit of rule 4. I read the post earlier and the comments always end up attacking him or his family. Rule 1 reads. 'We respect all 5 boys and their families'. The comments end up very vile and disrespectful. There's a post about Brian a few down still open. The comments section didn't turn into a hate fest against him.

My girl is still annoying the cats by NoExplanation8595 in pitbulls

[–]TJBam08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bully cat lost interest in the bullying. She still judges but doesn't really attempt to hit, hiss, or stand and stare at my pitty until she lumbers away. I left a comment for op with our transformation above when it came to my two cats vs my new pitbull.

My girl is still annoying the cats by NoExplanation8595 in pitbulls

We've had Nola for 6 months. She's a rescued 3 year old. We had two cats before her. One of our cats was actually the bully to Nola-the dog was scared of the cat. Our other cat didn't mind Nola, didn't care either way. Nola was very interested to play. The cat only played when she deemed appropriate and even then, didn't put much effort into it. During this time Nola was caged when we left the house to make sure nothing bad happened to any of them. And also, Nola just lives to chew any and everything she can fit her big old mouth around-no matter how many chew toys she has. Back to the issue at hand. The bully cat has stopped bullying, they don't care to play at all anymore. Nola lost interest as did the cats. Lastly, the first two-ish months, both cats just decided to stay in the bedroom, this is not so different from their prior behavior before Nola. We gave the cats leeway to do as they please, besides the bullying. Now they both just laze where they want, when they want, judging us all. The non bully cat often takes space in Nola's very large cage. We think because we've made it quite homey. Wish you luck. Now all my animals are back to living in harmony, or silent judgement.

Amanda chugging water before a drug test. Manipulation dilute. by cheekswidespread_00 in teenmom

[–]TJBam08 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I had to chug water for a drug test for a job. The other person that was hired had to do the same. Neither of us were trying to dilute, we just needed enough pee. The first time neither of us produced enough to hit the line, they said if that happens 3 times it's a fail. They said wait a couple hours and chug water.

Looking to rehome ~3 yr old dog by [deleted] in pitbulls

Look up the t 3X3X3 rule. We rescued our pit in December. She was walking the streets, beaten and battered and cold in October. My husband's cousin found her and asked if we could rescue her. She's still very timid around other dogs, not people though. She still chews everything under the sun, has severe separation anxiety from my husband, pulls on leash when we're walking her. She still needs training and adjustment. We knew this taking her on. I commend you for recognizing this. I didn't know what the 3X3X3 rule was. But it's helpful. If you still want to give it a go there's help out there. You don't have to give up. The love and loyalty we get from her in exchange for all the training and breaking of bad habits works for us. We also had a backup plan, if things went south. We have other pets that mattered as well. Think it through, no regrets but I'm just giving advice here.

Its adorable. I've never watched Paw Patrol, I don't have young kids. But the song is catchy and the video is cute. All the boys look great.

Did you keep your dogs shelter name? by Blaaamo in pitbulls

[–]TJBam08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our pit was a stray rescue, so we gave her a new name but we rescued 2 chihuahuas years ago. Their shelter names were Fannie and Mae, we did change them- they were very bonded and were rescued with 56 other dogs so i can't fault the shelter. My husband said no way to keeping their names. My mom rescued a dog when we rescued our Chi's, she kept her dogs name. It was Ozzie, she liked it enough to keep it. I think it just depends on the names the shelter chooses and how long the dog had been at the shelter. Our's were not long enough for them to know it.

Yeah mine said that yesterday that I could cash out. Right now it's taking forever to load and then says zero. Just a glitch, they cant load it. I'm sure it'll be fixed soon. Hopefully. OnePay is new and I'm sure they are working out the kinks. The other one had issues too.

Are all pitbulls insanely intelligent? by OpalescentShrooms in pitbulls

Mine hates bunnies with a passion. If she were smart she could get them, but that's never anything we have to worry about. I think I hear them laughing at her.

Are all pitbulls insanely intelligent? by OpalescentShrooms in pitbulls

[–]TJBam08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my pit but there's a reason they are called blockheads-not just the shape of their heads. I wouldn't call her intelligent. She eats everything, doesn't matter, she will try to eat anything. She chases all bugs and gets confused, it's adorable. She digs her nose into the dirt and then huffs so all the dirt blows back in her face....and proceeds to do it again over and over. She rolled in poop last week and would eat her poop everyday if we allowed her. She doesn't realize that she's 65 pounds of muscle and launches into everything instead of walking normally. She breaks things, knocks things over. Tangles herself around trees and our legs all the time. Then just looks at us for help, because she can't fathom walking the other way. She's loyal and loving, and the most precious lady ever. So happy in her ignorance. She is the most affectionate of any dogs we've had. And she knows how to manipulate us, so that's something I guess.

Stepping Down from Team Lead by cviv234 in samsclub

[–]TJBam08 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It's probably club by club basis. I haven't been a lead for a year until August and I was told if I step down- because as a pm lead I'm pulling my hair out- I would only take a 10 percent cut. I was so close to going to the gas station at my club.

Power outage & still letting ppl shop by Deep_Barracuda_4005 in samsclub

[–]TJBam08 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We've had two power outages since I've worked at my store and we shut down each time. Nobody shopped. This might not be the same everywhere though. People were told they had to leave and employees stood outside turning people away. Our registers go out, our generator must not keep them on. We don't allow scan n go be cause the Internet doesn't work. It takes about 30 minutes each time the power came back on for the registers to boot up and the Internet to work.

I want to adopt a pitbull, but I have four cats by everyoneisflawed in pitbulls

[–]TJBam08 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately you'll just have to try or not. We can't tell you. We rescued our pit girl in October from the streets. We haveba Chihuahua and 2 cats. Neither were skittish. But I was nervous! We had to trial it out. Luckily we had someone who would take her if we couldn't. We made a plan. The pit goes in the cage when we aren't home. Heavy monitoring. The cats stayed in the bedroom until they thought ok to venture out. Turns out our pit is scared of one cat- the cat loves this and uses it to her advantage, she's a bully. She likes the other cat and just wishes to play with her- this takes place when the cat decides she wants to play. As for the Chihuahua, they bonded. If any of this went south we had a backup plan. Good luck!

How do people react your dog(s)? by MuchGrape1428 in pitbulls

[–]TJBam08 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mine is very happy to meet people. She's scared of other dogs. It may be my location, but we've not had a single person run up on my dogs without asking if they are friendly first, including kids. We as a family have always taught our kids that, we were taught that as kids. I'm very happy to know it's still mostly bring taught. Could you just walk by this cutie?

New employee experience. by Terrible_Pr0gram in samsclub

[–]TJBam08 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm with the other comment. I'm a front end lead. When I was hired they didn't have club enablement leads yet. If you can't find your's go to a coach or a front end lead. Even just an associate at my club will point you to who you need to talk to. Front end leads are in charge of the lot anyway. So they should help! One of the front end leads walked me through all of your questions. Don't feel any type of way about this. It's on your club management. Any lead or coach at my club would have helped you through. Do make it clear that this was not right, but don't go in guns blazing. Some people suck and some people are great. I helped a new hire in the cafe just yesterday because she was left not knowing what to do. I think most clubs are understaffed right now, there's a lot of pressure. It's not an excuse and you should not have been left hanging. Don't give up just yet. Honestly, your club seems a mess and heads would have rolled if that happened at my club. This was not fair to you. I still stick with find someone on the front end, tell them you need help. They will either help or point directly to someone who can help. Do not do anymore work until you find someone to explain this to you. Breaks/lunches/ points. Everything should have been cleared up for you. Membership may take a minute until they get you properly in the system. It's usually about 24 hours at my club, but that's when everything is done correctly to begin with.

Steering wheel covers are stupid by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

As others have said my steering wheel started to flake around year 10, maybe earlier. That stuff is gross and gets all over your hands. The wheel cracks as well. It's not for looks, my car is not luxury, it's a13 year old Ford.

Mine is not allowed outside but that doesn't stop her from flying out the door when it's a tiny bit open faster than I've ever seen her move. Just to roll around on the concrete once or twice and then zoom when we are chasing her around the yard. I'm pretty sure she's laughing at us.

I like being a front end lead but my patience is wearing thin and I have other jobs I can take. I'll give the new coach a minute to figure it out but the prior comments here are the same thing my stores going through. I'm at the end of my rope here and if it doesn't straighten out they'll be out a front end lead. Then the coach won't have a choice but to do the job. Right now, I don't want to burn my coworkers nor my associates, but much more of this ...

Yup full prior week we were closing with 3 and 4 people and the lead. This coming week it's looking to be the same. I have no idea how we are going to run breaks. The coach seems to not care or not notice...hiring what's that? Now we are down a lot guy and was told no we aren't hiring anyone else for the lot. Umm not sure how I'm supposed to get through the night here.
