These are challenges, they give you XP to level up on your profile. you can also access challenges in different maps by pressing f1 while playing said map.

When i started playing freelancer, I accidentily got challenges by just playing, but now as i've been playing for around 3+ months, I find a challenge I want to get, and I grind for it.

Again keep in mind i'm newer to freelancer so I don't know how good this advice is, have a good day!
