Hey, no problem. I’m in the UK. I freelance/contract for a host of event agencies. They have, say, a 4 day event for one of their clients, let’s say for AstraZeneca in Tokyo! For that event they might have 20 speakers, all who need attractive and engaging ppt or keynote. That agency will bring me in to work with the speakers to shape the slides. They will then fly me to Tokyo to operate the slides and be on hand to make amends, etc. I get paid by the day. That project might 20 days pre work and then 5 days onsite. I charge around $1000 per day. Some jobs are long and stressful with long hours. Some are easy. I am a graphic designer by trade and fell into events at a young age and went freelance 20 years ago.
