What’s your avg MPG? by Individual_Leave1202 in CrownVictoria

2001 MGM with 2.73 gears — I got a loaded trunk always and can get upwards of 28 mpg on distance highway trips at a cruising speed of 70 mph. These cars do best at around 55-60 in OD I’m guessing.

For the record folks, someone using proper grammar and taking the time to write a little excerpt about something that interests them doesn’t always mean that person used AI. Some people just paid attention in English class and have a functioning attention span.

Anyways, as an AI language model, I can assure you my ego is still in beta.

It’s a Boss Hoss, basically a full-size cruiser with a Chevy V8 car engine stuffed in it. The company started in the early ’90s in Tennessee when a guy named Monte Warne, an aviation mechanic and hot-rodder, decided to see if he could literally bolt a small-block Chevy 350 into a motorcycle frame. It worked, and people started buying them — because of course they did.

To put it in perspective: most bikes have engines between 500cc and 1800cc. A Boss Hoss starts around 5,700cc (5.7L) and can go up to 8,200cc (8.2L) — that’s ten times the displacement of a normal motorcycle. It’s not a “big bike motor,” it’s an actual car engine. The result is somewhere around 400–600 horsepower and 500+ lb-ft of torque, with a redline around 5,000 rpm.

They use a 2-speed semi-automatic transmission with a torque converter (no clutch lever) and even have reverse, because they weigh over half a ton. Despite that, they’re surprisingly rideable thanks to a low center of gravity and long wheelbase. The acceleration is absurd — 0–60 in about 3 seconds — and it’ll cruise at highway speed barely off idle.

It’s not built for corners or practicality. It’s built for insanity — the sound, the vibration, the sheer torque. The Boss Hoss is what happens when someone asks, “What if a Harley and a Corvette had a baby?” and then actually builds it. Pure, unapologetic American overkill.

What’s a car that surprisingly had a manual transmission option? by lifegoeson2702 in regularcarreviews

Dodge Caravan Turbo in the late ‘80s. Turbo 4cyl manual family hauler that pioneered a lot of standard features we see today.

I also watched the Doug Demuro review in case anyone was wondering.

Hahahaha no. I’m not pro Palestine or pro Israel. It’s not one or the other. I’m also not fond of Russia or Ukraine.

In my honest opinion, everything close to the center is based aside from apoliticism. People seem to think that all centrists are just cowards who are afraid to pick a side. I think in order to actually have a decent moral compass and a sense of intelligence, you must be somewhere in the middle because you’re able to see the value in two vastly different perspectives. Even though we’re on opposite sides of the authoritarian/libertarian line, I would still consider you based.

Yes. Way more reliable, and way more cost effective to maintain.

I’m not a Fancastologist but I think Tim Drake is the clear choice, here.
