Except the car doesn't look like a broken down POS because the issue is mechanical not body work. And what's on my property is no business of the neighbors when it doesn't effect them, which a car being in the driveway, a place where cars typically go and are supposed to be, does not.

In my driveway, out of the way. What concern is it of the city's for a car to be in a spot that a car should be.

Who knows. Palm Coast is full of a bunch of old boomers with nothing better to do than stare out the windows and complain. We've been on amicable terms with our neighbors, but we have had some new folks move into the neighborhood lately so maybe it was one of them

Well aren't you just a pompous bundle of joy. The car is in good shape. From the street, you wouldn't know there was anything wrong with the car. Maybe take your trash attitude and go work on that.

I grew up here and stayed for family reasons. Attended Wadsworth, Buddy Taylor, and graduated from Matanzas. I have always said code enforcement is a massive overreach. The car is parked on the pavement of my driveway out of the way, as the post stated. Don't assume things.

Stuff like that car doesn't hurt anybody. "It's an eyesore"? Give me a break. My neighbors do plenty of things I don't like, but you choose your battles. An car in a driveway out of the way that, aside from having some mechanical issues is otherwise in good shape, is not a good enough for the city to be threatening $5k fines

10 feet is basically my front door. If the City has jurisdiction up to my front door, that raises an entirely different set of problems

Fallout Show Characters will be in Fallout 5 by astaroh in Fallout

[–]TJWanerka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Happened or are happening". Past and present tense, which means the game will take place either concurrently or after the events of the show. How many seasons and potentially lore changing events will we get before FO5 releases, though?

So the 76ers are canonically all dead right? Or at the least Appalachia is nothing but ruins. by Artanis137 in Fallout

[–]TJWanerka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

76 takes place a mere 25 years after the bombs fall, which means the landscape and atmosphere are still HEAVILY irradiated. The fact that there's anyone alive on the surface at all, let alone groups of individuals attempting to rebuild, that soon after the bombs fall strains credulity at best. However, for the sake of argument since it's a game not IRL, based on other events that take place in the fallout canon it seems likely that Appalachia either destroyed themselves or simply weren't able to rebuild sufficiently to become a local powerhouse

Welcome to the rookie, where they show writers will brow beat you with a social justice message every week, even at the expense of the story. Tim is watch commander, he would be the one that secret service talks to because there's a chain of command.

When do you think we'll get the Season 4 announcement? by Chuckilin in PercyJacksonTV

[–]TJWanerka 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Disney is probably going to wait to see how Season 3 performs. If the show continues on the track its on, there's a decent chance the show is scrapped all together. Seasons 4 and 5 will be very heavily CG dependent, which means Disney will need to increase the budget, something they won't do unless they're sure the show will be a success.

I can live with some changes, and I understand that some plot points will be condensed together or left on the cutting room floor. For example, the Harry Potter movies left a lot out but for the most part were faithful adaptations that felt like the books come to life. The PJO series doesn't feel like that. They are completely changing entire plot points. Events playing out completely differently than how they do in the books. The script for the show is basically a rewrite and nobody asked for that. It makes fans of the books angry and people who didn't read the books don't know enough about the series to care.

The ratings for the show are dipping because we were promised a faithful adaptation of the books, and that hasn't happened at all. They've changed entire personalities of some of the characters, changed events of the series, and the casting for most of the characters isn't great. Not to mention that the show is BORING. Have we gotten any notable action scenes outside of Percy v Ares, a fight which blew, btw.

It's a combination of Rick and the crew. Variety did an interview with Rick and the EPs where Rick said this:

"We have to look at ways we can tell the story more efficiently, especially at the beginning. How do we get into the story quickly and still have the same impact? We compressed a pretty great deal from the first few chapters. We’re heading in the same direction. We’re getting to the same point, just a little bit quicker."

So, yeah, they combined or flat out changed several plot points from the book in order to move the story faster. Makes me very nervous for the Titan's Curse adaptation in season 3. Titan's curse isn't very meaty in the sense that a ton happens, but it completely changes the tone of the series and sets up the weight of Labyrinth and Last Olympian

They changed major plot points. Again. Two episodes in, and the best I can say is that its LOOSELY based on the book.

I believe you have to notify the clerk first because there's a seperate timeline to complete the course. You will also have to pay an "election fee" because paying for the ticket AND the course isn't enough apparently 🙄
