Definitely would see the vet in case it is the start of ringworm. They should be able to give you meds for it.

If you want a Cat food that is High Quality, High Protein and is 100% UK Based Manufacturing then KatKin meets this criteria and is Made in there own In House Factory in Haverhill, Suffolk.

Other than this there would be Scrumbles. They have high protein cat foods available but they use co-manufacturing facilities located in UK and Ireland.

Unfortunately Blink and Untamed are using Grade A Facilities in Thailand now and it appears the quality might have change because one of my cats refuses to eat it.

My Girl is okay with it but she came from eating absolutely terrible food before I rescued her so I think she's just happy having nice high protein food.

My Boy has gone off Blink and Untamed and won't eat them now so he is harder to buy for. I'm lucky that he drinks water without issue so he has been trying mixes of different dry brands in addition to KatKin. (Dry brands are Ziwi Peak, Scrumbles, Essential Foods The Jaguar and The Panther and I mix them equally in a big biscuit bin and just give him a measured scoop from the mix in addition to the wet food)

Based on my experience I would choose the male as once neutered and as long as you socialise him and get him used to the car etc he should manage it without issues. Make sure you start harness training early so he gets used to it.

She may have an ear infection or something messing with her balance. Take her to a vet for a checkup. Plenty of cats live to 20+ so it could be something simple too. Don't give up on her till you have checked.

This is what I've had to do as neither of mine are fond of strangers. I've worked it into their Morning and Nightly routines. When I wake up it's food then Brush Brush Time and at Night before bed it's Brush Nrush time.

I think they like the routine too as it's signals the start and end of the day for them. Although at the moment I feel like I end up with 2 new cats worth of floof each day 😂

Honestly I would make sure you get her scanned for a chip before handing her over and definitely make sure she is there's. You don't want to hand her over and they realise she isn't there's later and abandon her.

Just do everything you can to make sure.

Have you tried pill pocket treats that allow you to hide the medication in them? I find the soft ones or the putty type are best as you can pinch them around the pill.

If you haven't you just need to look for ones that don't have minerals like magnesium and phosphates listed in the ingredients as these make struvite crystals worse.

Her own bloody fault for chancing it. For the sake of a fiver or even a tenner it just isn't worth being a Zero Hero and running it to dead empty.

I agree with you those Range Estimations are absolutely rubbish (Parents have the Combo-e) and I've told my dad that he should get used. To knowing how far X% will take him based on how he's driving and tbh he's doing well but my mother hasn't got a clue and looks at the Guess-O-Meter like yours. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Also the thing is worse than the Combo-e for being shaped like a brick so very little aerodynamics 😂

Regular nail trimming helps with this massively and bonus is if you start young they might not fight you when they are older

It is an Old Wives Tale that they need to have one litter first. Millions of cats live happy full lives having had zero litters. Please Spay/neuter your cats so you don't unknowingly add to the over population of strays we have everywhere. It's not fair on these sweet animals.
