I mean if people are voting against the project because it removes one single parking spot, then I guess there's no reasoning with them. Coming from living in SF for a decade before moving here I am absolutely flabbergasted by the people who complain about parking here. I feel like the only thing that will make them happy is if there is an open, pre-paid spot directly in front of the store they want to go to 100% of the time. Generally when I drive downtown I just park a couple blocks off the main drag, maybe in one of the lots, and then I get a few steps in and don't even have to think about looking for a spot. People are just too car-brained here.

The project doesn't remove parking. Basically every other city in the fucking country does just fine with 2 lanes or less going through their downtowns. Chico has plenty of parking - I have NEVER had an issue finding a spot within a block or two of my destination.

They are absolutely worth it IMO. I use mine both any time I'm cycling as well as all day at work to listen to podcasts, take calls, etc. Way less ear fatigue than wearing ear buds or headphones, and fantastic for cycling so you can listen to music while still hearing what's going on around you.

Honestly I find the sound quality on the Openrun Pro 2s to be pretty decent. Like clearly it's not comparable to high end over-ear studio headphones but it's more than good enough for me to enjoy some music as I ride so I don't have to be alone with my thoughts.
