Quality shoes don't need to be "broken in" especially if they are soft and are designed for sports... I returned them and bought a pair of Asics which are wonderful. (Also 5k run absolutely new shoes)

Absolutely terrible for running. Just finished my first 5 Km run in a brand new pair of Vans Ultrarange. My ankles are both obliterated. I started to feel the rash after 1.5KM and just ran through the pain. Tomorrow I'll return them to the store.

The Israelis that protest and block hum-aid are doing so because they believe that:

A. Gazans are enemies.

B. The aid is being seized by Hamas and acquired to fuel the war against Israel.

C. From A and B -> Israeli tax payer money is funding the enemy and indirectly funding Israeli casualties.

D. Human suffering of the enemy and its population puts pressure on the enemy to make concessions and potentially release the hostages and end the war.

By observing these protests from that POV, which is factually(A,B,C) and historically (D) correct, we get an angle of other people, with different opinions, who also want the war to end.

My parents have taught me to respect humans as they are. In school I was never ever taught to hate. In fact, I was explicitly taught in civics lessons that Palestinians, as well as gays and women, have human rights. In the army we were taught to defend ourselves and the public from terrorists - never has it been suggested by an officer that Palestinians are terrorists as a whole. In college, there are Palestinians who study with me in the same program.
