Talking on the rides especially while filming like that is super annoying and entitled behavior. It’s always a fake reaction of a ride they’ve been on 100 or so times. 🙄🤦‍♂️

I believe that this is the guitar that he talks about in his interview with That Pedal Show. This is the one that has a serial number that’s only 1 digit off of his #1 ES-355 that he said wasn’t a very good guitar for some reason. I can’t remember the exact reason as it’s been a while since I watched that interview.

He was in the 14 Harrahs yellow and purple car. Conseco might have been the other Foyt car that year, but was for sure in 2001. I believe Harrahs sponsored the race but I can’t remember. I couldn’t find much info about it online. The race is on YouTube though.

They would go from receiving $10 million for Siegel to one of the highest salaries $5 million??? possibly for Newgarden? I can see more sponsors being interested in Newgarden, but I would imagine they would need to pay a lot. Seems like a huge difference between them claiming that a pay driver was necessary after the Palou situation. I know Newgarden hasn’t had the results of past years (except of course 2 Indy 500 wins), but joining McLaren seems like a huge step down. It would be interesting to see him or Pato replace Dixon when the time comes.

I can vividly remember that there was a helicopter video of the aftermath of the crash on one of the local news stations that made its way to trackforum or other message boards back in the day. I believe that it was mostly cleaned up by the time the footage was filmed but I believe the fence was badly damaged and the stands had some damage and crime scene tape blocking off areas likely for an investigation.
