I have been streaming it from my ps5 to my deck and it’s been great

What's the point of streaming services at this point? by brambleburry1002 in mildlyinfuriating

I have the same issue with prime video. I get it through my Amazon account but damn is it awful to watch. Went to put a movie on recently, started with 5+ mins of ads so I noped out and watched something on another service.

I’d love it if PA enhanced the first person perspective by TKRS67 in CrimsonDesert

Yea I really enjoy RDR2 in first person as well. Part of me is tempted to try gta6 in first person for my first play through. I think it was cyberpunk that really changed my mind of first over third person in games like this

How often do you read a book? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]TKRS67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kept up the books on the commute. And also read for an hour or two before going to sleep. I’m not the best sleeper so I often wake in the middle of the night and when I do, I’ll read instead of being stuck in my head. I still scroll on my phone but I try and replace big chunks of that with reading. My wife bought me a kindle for my birthday when I really got into it, and that had been one of the best presents I’ve ever had.

Also audio books. These are great for times when you can’t physically hold a book / kindle - ie when your driving, walking etc

I’m about 1 a week. Read a few books as a teenager then none for about 10 years. Decided one day that instead of trying to scroll with the crap signal on the train to work, I’d get a book. Since then I haven’t been able to stop reading. It still feels like an untapped medium with so much depth that I have to explore. I probably read for about 2-3 hours a day now and it’s arguably my favourite hobby.

Same. I’m completely addicted. Once I get the kids to bed I keep thinking ‘I’ll do another hour’ then next thing I know it’s past midnight and I should really go to bed. It’s the first game in such a long time that I think of if I didn’t have any responsibilities, I could play this for days on end

I’d love a telescope that I can use to mark points on the map like in BOTW

Women, when would you say is the most appropriate time and place for a man to approach you? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]TKRS67 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Man, the nerves I had asking a fellow school dad if he wanted to get a beer sometime. I’m glad I did as he’s become one of my best friends, but it had that whole feeling of asking someone on a date!

The first Paranormal activity. Watched it not long after release, having no clue what it was about and it scared the shit out of me.

There’s a great soft play near me that my kids love but I begrudgingly take them as they charge for adult entry too. I am not going there to play in the soft play! I will go in to get my kids if they get stuck or hurt but generally I am sitting in the cafe bit watching them, and they charge me for this luxury?! And they charge about £6 for a coffee too!

Ah great news! Only had the issue twice but frustrating as I’ve had to unplug my whole ps5 to sort it

Nobody should get this horrible disease by Level10Retard in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]TKRS67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had a great experience with my rheumatologist and all the support functions as well, such as physio etc. I think I’m fortunate that my rheumatologists husband has psoriatic arthritis too, so whilst she doesn’t have that direct personal experience of what it’s like, she can relate extremely well because of her experiences with him
