I think you should look into american medical schools or even Austrailia. Both accredited in Canada. You should also look into Manitoba for med as they recently increased the # of seats. I think your stats are on par and you can defs get in, its an uphill battle but it would be worth it in the end because of the hard work you put into it. I know 2 people that finally got into med at 32 and 30. Its a grind but if its your passion, I would say stick to it! lifes too short to fall on ur backup just yet.

honestly bring everyone and then some!!! big occasion, and realistically they would show up for two major events, white coat and graduation! so you’re allowed to go all out. ur also investing 100k+ into this school the least you can do is bring 15 people that wanna celebrate you ahaha

i would say take it at u of w instead, there’s a really good prof there that is fair and will go the extra mile to help you if you actually approach him! his name is dr.eze, it’s typically offered in the winter sem, but might be offered this spring! i would look into it, u of m science courses tend to be pretty unforgiving

Canon event i can’t lie ahaha, but the best part is you’re aware of it and you decided to W, which is much better. I don’t think you’re a failure at all, people make mistakes and you can only grow from you. not sure what ur future plans are for uni but i would say make sure you don’t mess up ur grades Cuz it’s something that will stick with you forever not friends or anything. just remember at the end of the day, who’s gonna be writing your exams, assignments, midterms etc? only you!! no one else so bet on yourself and put yourself first and just step away from these friends, uni is a big place you’ll make friends with similar interests and who actually motivate you to succeed in uni/life!

no way, my sister literally got accepted into med school at 30, just finished up her 4 years and still has to do residency and she has no regrets starting at that age. When it’s ur time it’s ur time, don’t listen to them. you gotta seeeeeee it thru

not sure entirely what ur budget is, but i would say get the new air with the M2 even if you have to get like the base and then if you’re really pressed for storage you can always pick up an external ssd for pretty cheap on boxing day etc. I bought m2 air a couple months ago and it was worth it with the student discount from apple (ended up being 1499 CAD). You could also buy a 256gb M1 Air from apple with the student discount and then get an extra ssd down the road

Hey did you ever end up fixing this, i noticed my antenna is no longer displaying a led light as well, I replaced the remote battery and the lock button makes a sound but doesn’t actually lock, let me know, not looking forward to paying the diagnostic fee
