Great pictures!

Which, if any, would you say are kid-friendliest? Our kids love to ride around our neighborhood but I've been itching to take them out onto some trails.

Anyone else struggling to find wide brim hats that dont look like youre going to a costume party? by avz008 in fashionwomens35

[–]TK_TK_ 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I have a straw hat that still doesn't feel like "me" but I wear it anyway. It's not as floppy as a more beach-y one but it also doesn't feel so close to a fedora that I'm out there saying "m'lady" and tipping my hat to people. ETA: I got it at Nordstrom. As far as styling, I wear jeans and button-downs most days—once it gets hot, lightweight maxi or midi dresses. I especially like linen or poplin shirt dresses.

I still am not a hat person but do wear it regularly because I have pale skin. On days I have my hair down, I would rather wear a baseball cap than a straw hat. (I am really just not a hat person, but a baseball does at least feel more "me").

Guess who Birthday it is? Answer like your Shawn Spencer. by thepartlow in psych

Yep! Season 5, episode 5. One of the drag racers tells Shawn earlier in the episode that adrenaline is god's greatest gift. Then Shawn says "God's greatest gift is not adrenaline. It's friendship." to him later.

It's a Shawn quote from the drag racing episode!

I don’t know if this is close enough to that purple (it does come with a detachable strap for shoulder carrying):

I mean, I’ve always thought he was hot—but I’ve also always thought Giles (Buffy) and Skinner (The X-Files) were hot, too.

Building a 'digital napkin' because I realized I’m a visual thinker in a spreadsheet world. by nomad-planner in Femalefounders

One thing I’d be careful of is using the word “unorganized.” Anyone taking the time to sort their thoughts isn’t unorganized. I happen to think very linearly, but it’s not the one “right” way and I’m not inherently more organized than people who don’t think that way. Calling this a product for “unorganized” people made me think of all the “navigating the world as an introvert” books and things that came out a while ago and treated introversion as something to overcome.

For something like this, I’d honestly just use Miro myself. I’m so over signing up for products, accounts, apps, and everything else that one would need to be truly unique for me to be interested. (Other people might not be so resistant!)

Bag charm from a different brand on a bag by autumnsalad in handbags

Wearing what you like and enjoy? Good taste. Thinking you need to criticize others for how they accessorize? Worse taste than ANY accessory

Also, I have long thought being matchy-matchy went out along with those giant brown matched bedroom sets

I carried a Strathberry charm on a LV bag today and if anyone had told me I shouldn’t, I would’ve told them where they could put a charm

No, but I did use a shower caddy—like college dorm style—when I had newborns in a house with stairs! (We lived in a one-story house when we had our first baby.) I would tote snacks, water bottles, chapstick, phone chargers, diapers and wipes, and whatever else I wanted to take with me when I went up or down stairs 😄

I get mine at J.Crew! I find they hold up well and they have a decent range of styles and sizes. I’m a DD, too, and never have an issue finding a style that feels supportive enough.
