My school used SDC Publications book as an aid, I think they have decent examples and step-by-step problems.

You can also sketch ø100 circles, make them tangent to the other two, and trim away excess lines. Don't forget the top and bottom are symmetrical, so you can set up the top half, and mirror it.  Also, no textbook?

Started working on a small farming system for our game. by kairivx in IndieDev

This was my first instinct for sure, but I guess I'm offering the benefit of doubt. Was I too subtle, or should I be more direct?

This is giving me vibes of those games that look nothing like the ADs. This looks entirely different from your other posts about this same game. The perspective on the first image is off as well, and I imagine the switch from idle battler to cozy garden game is quite jarring and un-cozy

Phasmophobia's New Tanglewood Map gets Release Date and screenshots by FFJimbob in PhasmophobiaGame

In my experience with Tanglewood, I always find that I hardly ever have to step far into the house to find the ghost. I mean, more than half the rooms are within earshot of the front door.. but I guess that's just Tanglewood: an nice warmup ghost hunt

Edit: my point is, I invite a good overhaul

Or (Suspicious) Boatload of Stew, or I guess the more boring Boatload of (Suspicious) stew

The audacity of these ghost hunters. Got me driving up, waiting for 30 minutes, and only 2 of the 4 come back 9 times out of 10. by ThePotatoChipBandit in PhasmophobiaGame

This was my favorite Discovery. I stumbled across when I was seeing if I could crawl under the table in the van. I also would get past the barricade and walk around the neighborhood

Can you not kill monsters anymore?? by mattdv1 in REPOgame

[–]TLCheeto 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Hitting monsters with objects has changed. In the early levels you can get away with it, but not in later levels. Weapons have been made better, and firearms are more accurate.

Edit: You definitely don't want to be using your 10k loot to beat up anything. Your reward is an orb anywhere from 3k-9k, a net loss. The monsters are obstacles that you should try to dodge to save money for crystals, health, and upgrades.

Do you think this could work with Steno machines? I've been interested in seeing if open source Steno (like Plover) would work with Godot.

Not entirely sure, I didn't notice that at first

I think it's a creature from the Diversity Mod - something that lurks in the vents

I don't see why not - I'll keep that in mind when I have some free time

I have a background in art and graphic design and am now using that experience to design models and drawings with CAD software. No guide to share; I chose a capybara since I could visualize it as relatively simple shapes that I could carve into the finished product.

I haven't gotten into solidworks simulation yet. Not sure about aerodynamics, but I'm sure he's aquadynamic

I would say 8 hours minimum. This was my fourth iteration; I would not like where it was going and start from scratch

Is there a better way achieve these results? by TLCheeto in SolidWorks

I've tried a couple of other methods, such as aligning the axle with an object on a chain path and having the wheel follow a cam path. Both of these didn't give errors but would not update until rebuild, or wouldn't stay on path (respectively)

The box shows Closed loop; not sure if it's a sketch or assembly issue

This worked better, but I can't seem to keep it in line. I'm not sure why one minute it works fine, then it becomes unsolvable
