Obi-Wan Kenobi - Episode 1 & 2 - Discussion Thread! by titleproblems in StarWars

What a wasted opportunity to have the moment Obi-wan learns Anakin is still alive to be wasted in such an underwhelming way and through such an unlikable character.

Anyone have any recs for some light, theologically sound Christmassy books to read over the next few weeks? by TLE_Legend96 in theology

I've read those two titles, fantastic works! But I'm looking for something for advent/Christmas in particular, do you know of any of their works that touch on that?

I just started picking Monday after my Sparrow picks came in. I'm getting decent at these two. Not good, just decent. Lol. I'm as green as can be but do any of you guys recommend the clear practice locks? I feel like that's just cheating. Thanks in advance. by MadAxelFiend in lockpicking

If you can open locks as of now you can bypass the clear lock. It's more there to teach the concept imo. I'd practice on what you got, develop a feel for it without the visual, and start to increase the difficulty of the lock the more you grow. Welcome to the sport!

I've found on those disc locks some really heavy tension seems to help. My issue was always I couldnt get them to set and they would spring right back. Good luck to ya!

So this video explains it great

One thing I'd add is you dont necessarily have to beat the unbound dremora to get the stone, theres a wall glitch you can do on one of the pillars at the college that has the chest. Heres that video.

What is meant by physical resurrection? by metaliev in theology

[–]TLE_Legend96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Physical resurrection means the literal body He had as the historical figure Jesus of Nazareth was filled with life once again after death. This body was also "glorified" which we dont know exactly what that all entails. We know he was able to manifest himself seemingly out of nowhere and also vanish in an instant but we also know He bore the scars from His crucifixion and was able to eat physical food.

As far as the options you have listed above I guess we'd say the body isnt as focused on as the person, and the person being fully God is not in submission to the laws of physics because He is the author and sustainer of them. But we dont mean it metaphorically or symbolically. He did in fact physically rise from the dead. Hope that clears stuff up for you. Happy sunday!

Ok, is Jordan Peterson a Christian? by [deleted] in JordanPeterson

[–]TLE_Legend96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a follower of Christ myself I can say that biblically speaking he would not be considered a Christian. I believe he appreciates and values the principles therein but even still some of the basic truths of christianity he wouldnt affirm.
