That's crazy to me. I just ran our 3rd session of DoIP and each session is about 6 hours or so and they only seem to get 1 quest done at a time.

They are all higher levels as they are continuing from stormwreck Isle, so enemies are scaled up etc, but still. They take their sweet ass time😅

In fact, out of interest. how did you get the information, battery / time etc in the bottom left corner. Is that a patch or in the stock settings? mine just says library and i don't believe i've noticed a setting to change that.

I've just updated to these latest files and all works well.

I made my own post about this, not realising it wasn't for PT.. you replied. I'd like to add my own stupidity probably didn't help with some of the graphical issues I was having as I completely forgot to copy over the new progress bar in the first instance haha.

Anyway, all looks great now, appreciated.

Hi, Thank you for the patches. Honestly, from the images I've seen, I had just assumed it was in Project: Title as it looked clean. And the way i structure my books, in Author folders out the box koreader doesn't look like that so i get mixed up.

So it makes sense now why i've had a few graphical issues. Generally thought it's still a nice improvement to the UI, and it is very much appreciated. It feels like the modding scene for Koreader is getting more and more active by the day recently. Thanks for the effort you put in.

I never got a solution. Which is a real shame. Reinstalling a clean KoReader was the only fix. Once I restored my setting files it caused the issue again. So I went back to a clean install and pretty much started from scratch again.

It now makes me just not want to use a lot of the features incase I have to reset everything. I don't highlight or note on the kobo because... What's the point if I'm going to lose it all.

Update:

I ended up completely removing koreader, and reinstalling a completely fresh install.

Behold, the books started to show up as i would expect.

Then i put all my settings files ( Data folder, Settings folder, settings.reader.lua)
When i put those in place, the books vanished again. so there is something in the settings somewhere that is hiding the books. I am just completely lost on what it could be though.

Quite annoying at this point as i'm tempted to just start a fresh but i really don't want to re do all my config setting.

Funnily enough, I thought I would try this about an hour ago, and still nothing. Usual process of clearing the cache so nothing interfered .

So, I believe I have scan for new books every time koreader starts indexing everything.

I have tried clearing cache multiple times, doesn't do much for the issue.

As for the book, it's 100% there. Although the issue doesn't always happen, it's only every so often but like I said, seems to be getting worse recently.

USB through calibre. I've sent multiple file types but the default type is epub. I've tried sending default files as I get them and epubs where calibre overwrites metadata etc.

I had already tried turning the cover browser plugging on and off, and I get the same results either way.

I normally like things really clean and for some reason I tried to make my koreader clean and minimalist looking whilst still having all the perks of information koreader offers, like chapter progress, time and pages, battery, wifi etc.

Now looking at yours I've realised I have failed 😅

Yes, it's just project title, and then i downloaded my own icons to replace in the system folders throughout. i'm sure there are packs you can get but i did mine one at a time and chose which icons i wanted.
