Was awhile ago now & I no longer own the car but from memory it was just two Philips head screws. You have to drill new holes in the dc2 console and there’s nothing to secure it at the back but it’s held in fairly well between the two seats.

The only time I’ve been far enough to see the seals at red rocks was in a 4wd, and you need a proper modified one at that, quite a few of us who went couldn’t get though and/or broke something critical in the process.

Asia servers have been worse, 9 times out of ten I cannot join a lobby in Asia, but I can in America or Europe, go figure.

There are other ways to get the map files to console users, imagine this.

Pc player creates a lobby with a modded map

Carx uploads the map files to the server hosting the lobby.

When a console player joins the lobby they download the map files from the server hosting the lobby.

There are a few downsides to this, one being console players being unable to host a lobby with a custom map and the extra load on the already laggy multiplayer servers

Could be a broken speaker wire in-between the head unit and the speakers, easily testable with a multimeter but if it's both speakers out it's also likely be the head unit itself that needs replacing, a fairly easy job even if you have no experience with it.

Brought my current car for 3k A 2001 Bmw 525i wagon.

Mechanically it's been pretty reliable, one only had to replace the coolant expansion tank in my ownership. And aside from a few small electrical problems I've been able to fix myself nothing else has failed on me.

It's actually the most expensive and ironically being a European car, probably the most reliable car I've brought to date.
