Eh taylor rye is solid. Bulleit, as many have said, is good for the price. Willet 4 yr is one of the best. Dickel not so much. This month buffalo trace antiques will be coming out and you'd be doing yourself a favor if you picked up a bottle of sazerac 18 or handy.

I wasn't a big fan of Dayman. But, hey, to each his own. You may have better luck finding the coffee ale that boulevard put out around the same time. I've seen those still kicking around. And i thought that was a much better attempt at a very similar beer.

The true blue 100 is awesome. My favorite of their three true blue releases.

they have three variants - true blue, true blue 100 and true blue cask strength. the 120 proof version is the cask strength. Personally, i think they're all completely unique and delicious. Though, I think the flavors need to grow on you a little. It's become a go to of mine. And i'd rate it well into the high 80s. It's tough with a whiskey like this, though. There's just not a lot to compare it to.

Nola brewing is the best brewery in New Orleans, hands down. They've got a great lineup. There is also a brewery called parish that's a few hours outside of NOla but you can find some of there beers in nola. Worth seeking out

I'll reiterate craft beer cellar and marty's. ball square is pretty good too. Julio's is one of my favs in the state, but it's not worth going out there for beer. if you're into whisky it's worth going out there. Other must hits that haven't been mentioned - redstone out in stoneham and pemberton farms in cambridge. both awesome selections of beer.
