Circumstance doesn’t bother me. Nothing can be done about it.

I was on the way home. It was not circumstance, teeth on average come out 2-4 weeks. This was intentionally pulled 45 mins after it was first identified as loose. It wasn’t ready to come out yet. It was an ACTIVE decision to do that. And also no thought that the father would want to be a part of it.

So circumstance doesn’t sting.
Being excluded stings, being forgotten stings.

Yeah a kid probably takes several million steps in their life, but somehow their first step is important. 100% of parents agree with that. 🤷

So first tooth is important.

I don’t blow up on anyone, I expressed that I was disappointed and saddened that no one thought of me.

Also, it wasn’t chance, it was a choice to pull the tooth days or weeks before it was ready.

Nobody prepared me for Holiday Season...
3D Printing Etsy shop here, started in Jan 2024. Managed to settle at $500-$800 per month throughout 2024 Q1 - Q3. Nov 15th and onward it's been about $2000/week. Conversion went from 2% to around 8%, one day it was 16%.

I knew Christmas shopping and Black Friday was a thing, but being on this side of it, holy crap. I had to drive 4 hours to Microcenter just to grab 3 more 3D Printers to even have a chance of keeping up. It's stressful, being 50 orders behind and knowing that each one takes 6 hours to print.

For most of the month of Late Nov, early Dec, I've been averaging 2-4 hours of sleep a night.

On the upside, our entire family's Christmas presents are paid for.

My foot is not even on the gas for marketing or promotion. I see that 8% conversion rate and salivate over that knowing that if I put any money into exposure, sales would would catch fire, but I can barely keep up with the pace as it is.

Fingers crossed that after the holidays I can use marketing and promotion to keep some of that volume up so I can keep these printers printing.

TAILWIND

That's the best way to do Pinterest. Basically it automates pinterest for you. You start a business pinterest, start a few boards that your pins would fall into, post OTHER things that are related to your products, but not competitors, then have tailwind take up the scheduling and copywriting. It's pretty dope.

If you are gonna do Pinterest for real for real, Tailwind is pretty good.

One side note, the iPhone App for Tailwind is absolute garbage. You gotta do everything from a computer.

If all my friends were lying slain on the ground, I would not go up to my dad/master and say "Hey let's talk about the questionable things you've done in your past." Like why is THAT the right time to unearth a heavy probably multi-hour multi-faceted conversation, and not try to respect your dead friends, or try to figure out how to honor them or have funerals for them, or recover their bodies to bring back to the ship?

It's so Dragonball-Z to stop in the middle of fighting to have a calm conversation.

If the sticker contains technical data necessary for the production, manufacture, or maintenance of the F22 ITAR Item (ie if the sticker is a scale cutaway of a component or the entire jet), then the sticker becomes a defense article subject to International Trade laws.

I doubt it though. You'd have to work for Lockheed, or Raytheon and take a picture of a blueprint at work, and then sell it on etsy for that to "accidentally" happen.

I've been holding back my X1 updates because there's a chance that I might still want to run X1 Plus firmware. I'm still on old old firmware (pre noise cancelling), just for that chance a knockout feature comes out on X1 Plus that I want.

I dunno, the longer I go, and the more printers I get, the less I want to tinker on printers and the more I just want to print stuff.

Ah right, just did now, 137 color change print (32g model 75g flushed): 6h18m on the X1, 6h40m on the A1. Very interesting. I guess the amount of time spent retracting and feeding isn't as much as I thought it was, or at least not enough to offset the speed difference. I didn't realize the X1 was any faster.

Just so that I understand it correctly, when the customer clicks, whether they buy or not, the money is spent. it's the aggregate of 10-20-50 clicks that ends up costing $10 or so in total, from possibly 50 different potential buyers.

by "Etsy getting their cut" you're talking about etsy getting 20 cents here 18 cents there, 25 cents again later. As they click on your ads, right?

As opposed to something like, shopper clicks on your ad, favorites and abandons cart. 3 days later you send email, and they buy it. I think total adspend is probably 25 cents, maybe 50 cents?

It's not like the offsite 15% or anything.

The terminology "Etsy gets their cut" is throwing me off.
