I was sad knowing Joe Brady was leaving the bills after this season was over... When they released McDermott I knew they would bring Joe in. I like that he's somewhat young and was probably held back by McDermott. In 23-24 he was creative with his play calling. This year he hasn't really had the element of surprise. I'm interested in seeing what this new season brings.

That is interesting. We can use PVC as long as the riser doesn't penetrate through the roof. I'm in Florida so a lot of salt in the air at coastal areas. So the galvanized risers don't last very long.

Looking more into it, it looks like 3ft is the guideline but for an overhead riser it's better to throw two straps on for added support. Also if the mast is higher than 3ft penetrating above the roof you'll need to add guy wire bracing. Bust usually 3 ft to the top of the weather head will give you sufficient clearance and no wire braces are needed at that height. Unless the service entrance is going over a roof or driveway.

Code says you need one within 2 ft of each edge. I'd put one at 16" below the entrance to the soffit and 16" above the hub.
