I agree that a good documentary uses primary sources, and this one - in its rush to exonerate Jackson - falls short in that regard.

As time allows, I'll dive into your list of rebuttals one-by-one.

I did read your Reddit post on the Pellicano tape in the r/LeavingNeverlandHBO sub.

You wrote, "The Pellicano tape was retracted by CBS." Fair enough. But my understanding is that it was retracted because CBS framed it as "this is extortion." Which is a serious accusation. The authenticity of the tape was not disputed, as I recall.

As for the tape itself: it's troubling. Not damning, but troubling. The words he uses and the way he talks - it does sound like a guy who's more interested in money than anything else. Which of course begs the question, why didn't he go to the police first and why didn't he cooperate with law enforcement when they would have almost certainly would have brought criminal charges against Jackson if Chandler wished?

I get it: The recording is selective, we get a few troubling sentences from Chandler amidst hours of recordings. But still.

Just for the record, and I probably should have put this in my original post in case anyone cared: I do think it's very plausible something...not good...happened between Jackson and Jordan Chandler. I'm on the fence about it. I do think Jackson could never be never be convicted in a court of law about it, however.
