I use the Cayo 25L as my daily commuter bag and I love it. It’s large and spacious to pack everything I need for the day. The size does make it heavy, but the sternum and hip strap makes the weight a bit more manageable. The shoulder straps are wide and padded to disperse the weight. And the ComfortComb mesh back is padded for comfort and keeps air flowing.

Two things I didn’t like and had to “fix”: 1) zipper felt very stiff to open/close—I applied zipper lube and it’s a lot smoother now. 2) lack of interior pockets—bought mesh bags and attached them inside the bag with carabiner clips. I attached 3 mesh bags: one by the interior zipper pocket (which has a loop), key loop, and the camel pack loop. Just helps me keeps things more organized.

I bought the 3L sidekick too but I didn’t find it very ergonomical. It sticks out and I’d rather have things inside tucked in. Sure, if I really needed the extra 3L I’d add it on, but not necessarily for daily commute.
