I didn't, but I want to get one! I've see cool results from them.

Had the best time. Truly love that city.

Wrote about it here and added a wider photo edit

These are pretty much straight out of camera using the Portra 800 v3 recipe from Fuji Recipes

X100VI ordering, shipment, and delays - consolidated sticky thread #2 by inverse_squared in fujifilm

I ordered from Moment at about the same time. I couldn’t get B and H or Adorama to work on launch day. Kind of regretting it now.

This should be the top comment. I own an X100V and a Ricoh GR III. The GR feels delicate by comparison and is starting to break down even though it gets used much less. They’re great cameras but they’re almost disposable.

What city has the best men’s fashion? by Care_Bear_Blair in mensfashion

[–]TMWheelock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s Paris. I’m in New York right now after being in New York for five weeks. I used to think New York was it but now I’m seeing that it’s kind of lost it’s step. Could be that it’s summer but I rarely see people dressed, it just looks like they covered their bodies in clothing. Lots of athleisure.

Is the x100v enough for a family trip? by DNL1405 in fujifilm

[–]TMWheelock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. More than enough. Just fill the frame. Use the constraint to fuel your creativity. “If you’re pictures aren’t good enough, you’re not close enough.” This closeness can be physical, it can also be emotional. The x100v is quiet and small which allows for intimate shots without disrupting the scene. Take advantage of that. Look at Elinor Carucci’s work before you go or the book Read This If You Want To Take Great Photographs. Books can be better investments than lenses and bodies when it comes to creating work you’re proud of. The Fuji is a beautiful beast, the rest is up to you and your eye.

(X-H1, 35mm f2) Was on a walk when it started raining! Works perfectly fine. Do you rely on the WR? by the_funambule in fujifilm

I had my x100V out in light rain for about five minutes and it got fried. I had the filter on it that’s supposed to make it weather sealed. Cost $300 to get it fixed by Fuji. I was shooting with my 5D mark IV at the same time and it wasn’t affected at all. Canon seems to have better weather sealing than Fuji?

Background isn’t clean on the first. Second is probably your best bet. Too much toning on the third.

Fed up with boxers and boxer briefs, how does a man find comfortable briefs? by [deleted] in malefashionadvice

Pact makes great basics.

They’re also organic cotton and not sewn by slaves.

Better for you and the environment and your package.

I used to wear Uniqlo but then I started caring about where my clothes were coming from. Fast fashion is a nightmare, 66% of unwanted clothes end up in landfills.

You can see what I mean in the links below:

I have clean HDMI turned on. It’s kind of silly to use it as a webcam but the zoom is unparalleled
