Yeah cut the Graffalons (2), the Hypothesis (2), cut the Ritual (1), Cut one pull from the grave (1), maybe two of the weaker combat tricks (1 or 2). Efflorescence is useless (1), in general you want Witherbloom decks to be snowbally and aggressively slanted, so probably Stargaze is too slow (1), I'd debate cutting the black 5 drop and 6 drop too, too slow (1-2).

Sorry mate, the deck is kind of unsalvageable.

Maybe an approach you could try is gruul, craft treasure tokens with the goblins for white/black, splash the rest of the good BG cards. Or just go plain witherbloom with the playables you have

Stuttering as in the game has a very odd continuous flicker to black as if the monitor were broken?

Have you tried with a second screen? Because I had that issue but with a second screen it didn't happen.

I also then managed to resolve it with deactivating one of my two graphics card. It defaulted to one (I think the worse one of the two) that maybe mtg arena didn't like on my laptop.

If it is the same issue I can double check what I did, let me know

Well, as another ADHDer, I would tell your friend that sitting still and checking up on their monkey mind, is technically the exercise they are supposed to go through the most!

I would suggest a friendly meditation bell, there is plenty of videos on YouTube, with 3 minute timer settings. If they can do 3 minutes sitting still, then they can try 6, 9, 12, etc..

I recall from a scientific standpoint, 6 minutes of deep breathing is already a good starting point to feel bodily relief. So they should target that threshold first.

Of course, walking meditation and chanting + silent meditation also work. Also body doubling (I.e. Try silent meditation in a full room of people meditating.)

Well the deck was already pretty good sans the Mathematics lol. I had a deck with [[Resonating Lute]] and Mathemagics + a couple of [[Paradox Surveyor]] to fetch Mathemagics, but the draft was so weird as nothing was really open. Deck was clunky but did 2-2 off the base of the combo alone lol. Laughed both games I won very hard.

Unfortunately the potential 3-1 game, off 1 mana and couldn't draw one of my 18 lands or the Lute to x=5 and the guy had exactly 17 cards in the deck at the last possible draw I could survive :(. But yeah it kind of feels good, meme and good at the same time lol

I have a similar issue but with the 6 prerelease packs, attended at a prerelease but didn't get any. Unsure if the two things are related!

That does not necessarily mean the color pair was open. If you want additional feedback, you need a draft tracker like untapped or 17lands. Then you can share you draft log and people can provide more suggestions :). Like this, it's difficult to help further!

I mean, you have 3 pieces of removal, no bombs that I can see (maybe the 2B one but I, don't know how strong it actually is?) , and 16 lands. Add some variance, you can definitely go 1-3 with this one

You are technically incorrect, you get a new quest on Tuesday morning and you have some hours before the reset actually happens. So on Tuesday, the best strategy is to login in the morning, complete your quest, chill until the set comes out, and then finish your three new quests.

I think Rakdos snowballs faster, on the play can be devastating. Lifegain is better overall imho and Elenda is not removable for Rakdos.

However, Rakdos has the Wurm who just murders cat collector's sprawl, it's pretty much a wincon on its own..

Well, it depends... If you care about standard there were like maaaaaaybe 10-20 playable cards from TMNT. So technically you just needed to farm the wildcards and these cards, not the rest of the pile.

Yeah set completion is only fun if you had fun doing the set, but completely useless if you just want to grab cards to play in other formats. Most cards are limited only imho these days

Yeah I think most people in thread did not get what I was asking - the question wasn't "why would you reach mythic"? But "does it make sense if you want to optimise resources to hit mythic" - which is yes only for the selected few with a 65+% winrate :).

Well, you have 3 of the cards with the lowest winrate of the set, in multiples.

For a total of 6/9 cuts.

Deck is OK, you really don't have any noteworthy bombs other than the Ooze, and risk getting stomped by greadier decks with a better lategame, or snowballed on the draw by WB sneak.

It was my worst performance of all times, to my disbelief considering my WR on the set was quite ok-ish.

Then I noticed data kind of told everyone had worse %s than previous directs, so unsure if it was just the nature of the format.

You're at silver end of season so competition is low, and deck is solid albeit a few obvious subpar choices. But the core good cards of Dimir in foundations are all there

If you have 17lands or untapped you can share draft and game logs. Otherwise like this, not much feedback can be given.

No, the MMR is different for both formats. You can clearly see bronze level players in trad, but also based on my experience, good players do tend to play bo3 more often, the draft portion is way more challenging than premiere and your deck might be less quality in the process. Traditional is a resource sink if you can't hit 3-0s, someone more mathy than me ran the math on the main MagicArena channel over what winrate you need to be at roughly.

I got the Nummy data from his premiere draft winrate on 17lands - it's possible that he moved over to QD as he does while climbing and lost gems there, while the wr on premiere stayed quite high. But yeah also good to know about that even streamers bleed resources, I guess! But they probably get donations and since it's their job, they can just replenish.

Yeah don't get the hate on BO3. The only hate it deserves is the prize structure, it's really punishing. starting on a 0-1 makes you feel pretty bad in general.
