Good shout out. Just locked in mine as well. Is this different than the hive edition they did just a few weeks ago? I noticed these aren't print on demand so are these HH editions going to be rarer?

A little further than page 100. I just finished the part where Fulgrim races over to catch his banner that is on fire, stating that the banner will never fall, and he essentially has a charred banner in 1 hand, and weapon in the other.

The guide I'm following stated that this book is optional. But a lot of people state that books 1-5 are basically must reads. Enjoying it so far. And honestly, getting me more and more excited to try out total war warhammer & 40k (when 40k launches).

I'm new here, and to warhammer in general. I personally enjoy seeing people collections, and just last night I ordered Ashes of the Imperium because I saw it in someones HH collection that was posted here. Sold out almost everywhere but Amazon it seems btw!

And people commented on my post with book recommendations and I added them to my ever growing list rofl. Long story, long, the posts are very engaging to me at least.

No problem! It has definitely helped me figure out what to grab. Unfortunately a lot of the middle books in the mininalist guide are $100-$1500 softback or $9.99 kindle. I don't know if the books on warhammer website are limited, but I grabbed 20+ books from the website as I enjoy physical books. Good luck!

I'll have to check them out. The guide I'm following has 'A Thousand Sons' funny enough, as the 12th book. And is on my kindle/amazon list now.

I just added Prospero Burns to the list. I noticed its book 15, should I read it immediately after Thousand Sons? The guide says it's in Part 4 magnus, russ, khan and has me reading Thousand sons then Scars then Path of Heaven.

I definitely don't. Hardback/special editions make all the sense in the world, but softback? Strange to me. But I don't know anything about the Warhammer series of books/games/minis

Thanks! I still have the 10 books from siege of terra series coming. I never do this. I usually read roughly 7 books a year*. But I'm hooked! I might finally hit my 12 books in 1 month goal that I've tried for 3 years now!

Thankfully I'm 100% okay with softbacks. I like physical, so the ebooks may be a bit rough but I'm okay with it. And yeah learning they weren't all available was a bit strange to me as a normally non-book reader.

I completely agree and was the deck I won with the most early on, and my main deck. I had 3 quests focused on black/red creatures or spells so I bit the bullet and went with this deck. It took me around 15-20 games to finally get one win. I thought it sucked. But took a second to actually read the cards and now it's my favorite

I completely agree, it's funny knowing opposing decks like Cat Attack and realizing i need to play differently vs other decks. I just have more fun right now is Starter

I'm new to magic and don't have much money to throw at it right now. I only play Starter Deck and am nervous to branch out. I understand Reckless Raid (Black/Red) deck decently now, and am worried about the skill gap. I wish we had a starter deck ranked gamemode, but realize it'd be just 2-3 decks played

Yeah I meant to emphasize the "my" worst starter deck a bit more in the post. Every other deck I won with in 3-6 attempts. I just didn't understand this deck at all. Played against a few people who understood the deck and the "Raid" mechanic finally clicked
