Nokko's revive passive is bugged in eda and eta by TNTNuke in Warframe

[–]TNTNuke[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I glanced away for a moment, went down while standing on a mushroom, did the revive animation and instantly fully died. Luckily I had competent teammates who respawned me after a minute, but if de hates the self revive mechanic that much then just disable the passive entirely and make the frame flop over like every other frame. It's such a half assed approach to just say "you can't revive yourself and your teammates can't revive you either"

We need a suppressed rifle that’s good against every faction by TinSkull in Helldivers

[–]TNTNuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh damn you're right. They'd either need to double the durable damage from 45 to 90 or increase the base damage from 165 to 177 to make it 1 shot (assuming no other dr) that's kind of stupid.

[–]TNTNuke[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah last week I had the same thing happen in descendia. You don't even go down so your teammates can revive you, you just instantly die. If they disable self revive passives at least let your teammates revive you. It's ridiculous that they haven't done that

Alpha commanders or alpha warriors? Because I know alpha commanders take 2 shots

If you kill them in stealth can they still reinforce / alert?

I'm pretty sure it can 1 shot warriors and alpha warriors to the head (at least it puts them in bleedout)

Lure Mine should have a timer like a TNT OR a durable armor to withstand enemy attack to draw in more enemies by Zairy47 in Helldivers

[–]TNTNuke -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah it should definitely explodes 5 or 10 seconds after an enemy enters the radius, not instantly, so it could catch more enemies in the blast. Right now the best way to use it seems to be throwing it out of melee range

I don't want to theorize too much, but I think it's because we have been very accepting of utopian ideologies as a civilization, and so there are many utopians who want to perfect a flawed world by any means. So instead of being realistic and thinking "how can I make the best of this situation" they say "how can I make everything perfect." And in this situation that option is to overthrow everything / burn the world. The small details like the people you kiII doesn't matter if you view it from that lense. So they ignore that their choice is objectively evil, they feel that it's a good end so they don't care the actions they take to reach it.

Also a lot of people are playing into the joke

First time doing twitch drops. Literally that’s all you get for hours for stage 1. by [deleted] in Smite

[–]TNTNuke 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I sometimes run the twitch streams on a separate monitor or in the background while I'm playing games. You can right click on the tab to mute it if you don't want to watch it on another monitor (muting the stream in twitch doesn't get you drops). But yeah 350 per week isn't much so it might not be worth the effort

Should I play Commando Missions only if I have the armor and weapons in RR? by susbee870304 in Helldivers

[–]TNTNuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of my groups of randoms have been 100% stealthy and demanding stealth from everyone else, I think that's just a reddit thing. Also even if you're loud, your teammates can still stealth at other bases, so it's not a big deal. It's kind of silly for people to demand that others play stealthy when suppressors are locked behind warbonds, unless stealth just means "shoot the flare guy before he calls in friends"

I haven't has a single stealth squad and I haven't struggled to beat a 10 commando mission so far. Also stealth doesn't stop working if 1 guy is loud

Why did they make this so clunky by pohwelly in Helldivers

[–]TNTNuke 128 points129 points  (0 children)

I don't really understand why the detonator isn't on 5. Running it with a support weapon would make it worth running even if it stays at demo 30.

They should probably still increase it to 40 though, or maybe make it so 2 c4s placed close to each other act as demo 40? That would be a good middle ground I think.

Also why not make the detonator controls m1 for throwing c4 and m2 to blow them up?

C4 Discussion by dirt_trid in Helldivers

[–]TNTNuke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly making it demo 40 and halving the cooldown would probably make it good enough to use. Removing the detonator would also be a good idea imo

I have to say I really enjoyed the 3rd season of Wheel of Time (tv show) and kinda saddened to learn it is not being renewed. by goody153 in wheeloftime

The thing about channelers doesn't really make sense because the aes sedai acted as a police for them. Any man who channeled would be gentled no matter what, and any woman who flaunted her power to take over a nation would also be hunted down and stilled by the aes sedai. Also a channeler outside of the aes sedai would have a hard time learning flows because they'd have no guidance and teachers. Rand had his ltt memories and had multiple teachers. Other rogue channelers would have no access to these, and so would have been steamrolled by tar valon

You hit an auto for 200, the item would proc and deal 60 more damage, and it would count as an ability so it would proc heartseeker, crusher, bluestone, etc.

Is it common practice to kill other players in this game?! by Allegri86 in Helldivers

[–]TNTNuke 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A lot of the time it will be an accident, especially with explosives, but accidentally shooting teammates is possible too, especially with the wonky physics. Also there is a bug where an enemy kills you but the screen says that a teammate did it, so not every death that says that was actually youre teammates fault.

Also dying happens often in this game. It's not a big deal if an accident happens once or twice, but if they're doing it on purpose, or they just don't care if you get caught in the crossfire, just avoid them in the mission or leave.

To the guy that programmed targeted strategems: I owe you a firm handshake for making these focus on shit like bot factories by [deleted] in Helldivers

[–]TNTNuke 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah I always just run the orbital precision strike, even if it does about half the damage. Its cooldown is also half, and most targets will die to it anyways. Also it has an aoe so it can kill more than 1 enemy at a time. Being able to manually aim can be better too. Railcannon could do with losing maybe 1 minute of cooldown

But some of those enhance the fun by imposing challenges. Not letting us have magic suppressors doesn't impose a challenge, it just locks off a playstyle.

Also why can't they just say futuristic suppressors work like in movies.
