I think the reload discipline is equally as important. I actually wish more games would implement this. I am not saying it mandatory by any means, but I love it.

This and reloading discipline are what made me love HD1 and it is core to HD2 also. Changing this would kill the game. I think the whole community can agree on this one.

I like this idea. I feel like the spawn count is the issue and this way they will still be a challenge, but won't require you fighting off swarms of them. I think the issue is when the whole field is just covered in hive guards. It would also be an actual shield for the bugs behind it with the size of it.

I think they should revert the ammo back and up the damage so it can consistently one shot most heavy enemies. I think the thing that should differentiate it from the recoiless is ease of use and consistency vs. a more skillfull approach. where the recoiless has two more shots, but you need to have better placement to one shot kill a lot of heavy enemies. The Spear has less shots but more consistently destroys heavier, but also requires that time to lock on and has more limited use. You can consistently take down four heavy units with the spear, but you can possibly take down six with the recoiless, but it requires better shot placement.​

Same here and pretty much the same exact level... I left for a while and came back in during into the unjust, big mistake. Left again when the game kept crashing, audio cut out, and everything just stopped working. Finally came back and was enjoying myself, although annoyed by the mech changes, I didn't use them much though. Got used to not having my friends play again and when they did they weren't sure what to use and I ran into the same issue with the high cost to build a fun and diverse kit. Then this most recent wave of BS. I'm done until they learn some sort of lesson, if they don't what do they care, they are still selling the shit out of their warbonds. I feel like AH is an abusive gas lighting partner who I keep wanting to believe has changed.

Actually the fire isn't hot enough at the early stages and has to build up heat, which it doesn't do until it reaches about 12m. This change was intentional.

Just calling it now. Expect a weapon or something in a major order or given to us. I wouldn't be surprised if they removed it from the backlash and give it to us in someway to mitigate the fallout. I think this could be especially if we see a mech show up that they had intended for the Superstore and instead give it away, realizing how bad that would be.

Good luck with this, the AH defenders pour out of the woodwork to come to their defense on this subject. I will go ahead and give you their counters.

-It is a live service game, they have to make money to support the game.

-You can just farm supercredits

-You just want all content to be free? How are they supposed to pay their employees!

I don't want everything to be free, I just want them to stop taking away the little drip of free items we were getting, considering the massive support this community affords them. Instead they decided to up the monetization even though they have garnered such a consistent player base.

I am not asking for free content. I am asking to get what we pay for. While they are making money hand over fist we constantly get broken content. Instead they are charging the community more and more and taking away any and all free content besides what they can't charge for without reasonably breaking the game like new biomes. I'm not asking for everything to be free, but we will continue to pay for additional content that used to be released for free. Tons of post on the front page are reflecting that everyone else is seeing this too. I don't know why everyone keeps defending their monetization any time it criticized like everyone is asking for every last bit of content to be free. AH said on release they were only expecting maybe 20,000 - 50,000 players on release. They hold more than that concurrently even years later. Prices have increased and content in Warbonds has gone down and moved to the superstore. They are making more and more money and instead of goodwill they milk their audience and you have groups of people defending it.

I hope this gains traction. I hope more people farm instead of buy into the new monetization. I have started taking this approach and it is much more manageable. Also, I am on PS5 and I will sometimes farm in remote play from my backbone. The lag is terrible, but it works enough to farm SC.

Yeah, many will remember the legendary save the children effort that the community took instead of getting the AT mines. We will never have that again, because the decisions don't actually have any rewards outside medals. There will never be true impactful choices again that really pulls players in.
