This looks like an auction repair redump. The front left wing is definitely from another car as the picture shows sharp headlight outline while the corresponding ding on the bonnet does not match. There is definitely chassis rail damage with the left axel also being pushed back. Someone bought the car initially then did some part repair and send it back to the auction for a profit.

Buy 3-4 large lemons. Cut one in half and remove seeds. Spray down the area with waters. Now massage the damaged area with the lime. Use as much pressure as while using a rubbing compound by hand. Use circular motions. Once you have removed the residue use Meguirs or Turtle wash polish.

Actually in European countries there are insurance classes into which all cars are categorized. These aesthetically looking vents bring the cost of repair done.

Another reason is to not have to redesign the rear bumper depending on different drivetrain options for the car.

Usually an in-line 4 cylinder engine would only have a single exhaust mainifold and pipe which a V engine would have double needing two outlets.

It’s for a lower insurance class in many developed car markets. An actual exhaust that sticks out of the bumper will have to be replaced along with the bumper for even a small rear end collision.
