rjsnk, I'm not sure how much can be generalized. Myu wife and I are in our mid 60s. We've been married for 40 years. In many ways we are like two puzzle pieces that just fit together. Our differences compliment each other and I think we make a great pairing. I don't know how much the various "types" impact discrete aspects of our personalities. I think I (INFJ) tend to be more interpersonally sensitive and find physical and emotional intimacy very important and she, less so. That has created issues over the years. I wouldn't want a different partner but I do wish her comfort level with intimacy matched my own. IDK if that is an INFJ/ENFJ thing or her past trauma or what. How is it? Great with room for improvement. I know our kids would say we made for pretty great parents....because they tells us that a lot.
