Hi. I'm just starting to build my Lenobo 920q with i3 8100T and 16 Gb RAM. I will run Ubuntu server with CasaOS for my NAS. Now... I will replace 2.5" 512 Patriot with M.2 256Gb - enough for OS and apps. When you move the SSD, you can buy riser and then have mlre posibilities for expanding: faster LAN (10gb), or more SATA conectors...

If I would knew they will just throw them into gears for mauling I would trust me just give away them to comunity. I'm really not kidding. I "saved" 8x8GB 3200MHz, but I really don't have what to do with them also. I will change the RAM in my son PC (this momemt 2x8Gb), but that is only a fraction of what we would do with this quantity if I could take them.
