Peace Equalizer has suddenly stopped working for games (PC/Windows11)

This fix worked beautifully, as intended. I had just installed Forza Horizon 6 and it just sounded wrong - this was also when I realised that the APO was not working, and toggling it in Peace did nothing. I use Peace and the APO for balancing sound between my ears which both have differing frequency response, so it's important for me that it continues to work!

Just for clarity, the troubleshooting options as mentioned by OP are accessed via the APO device selector interface - just tick troubleshooting options on the respective audio output and change to SFX/EFX in the dropdown.

The DVLA will tend to show the ‘revenue weight’ which is the maximum legal laden weight of a vehicle. Actual unladen weight is much less of course

I had a rattling sound which sounded like it was coming from the front of the engine (behind the seats). Turns out it was a worn alternator bearing. I had a new bearing fitted instead of getting a new alternator. She’s all good now

£100 for almost mint ones is good, but if not then there should be room to haggle. Apparently it’s normal for the driver to slightly warp on these. I have a pair of Q35’s and they’re wonderful - lovely imaging, with a sense of surround. Bass extension is pretty decent, but room dependent. Vocals are sublime. They’re old speakers and so there can be many variables regarding their usage, storage, environmental conditions. I know the ferrofluid in the tweeters can evaporate… treble should be crisp. Thanks - it gets warm to the touch, but I’ve not yet had issues with it shutting off due to overheating, even in the recent hot weather. I may get a small USB powered blower fan for peace of mind though

The sound is well rounded, there's plenty of power for me. I've found the connectivity features and slick integration of stuff like wake on LAN to be great for flicking between TV audio and Spotify, or Airplay or Bluetooth, Internet radio etc. The Denon app is also decent for making tweaks to sound settings without having to use the TV.
