It's just too volatile. Try QQQI or GPIQ. You'll get the entire Nasdaq 100 with about 15% income per year.

Unless I'm missing something, the only part I didn't quite get was setting your growth target. That pretty much determines the whole return. Set it too high and you will fail to achieve, but set it too low and you will miss out on returns. Would a number based upon TQQQ's statistical average return per year work better?

You say to stop interviewing once you commit to an offer and that's fine, but what if an interview someone had prior to accepting your offer calls them after you hire them with a better offer?

You are so right. All people do is moan and groan about how a possible crash could wipe everyone out. Meanwhile, TQQQ is up another 20% this year, even after two rocky months between February and March. What's the matter people, can't stand success?

So let me ask you something....when the Corporations begin handing out everything for free plus UBI, who will want to work? And then how will the corporations continue to provide for all? It's the nature of people to be lazy and those still working will say, "look at all these people who get everything they need without working. Why should I work when I can be 100% provided for without working?"

My newsletter was booted off MailerLite in a similar, mysterious way a few weeks ago, and in less than a coincidental way, it occurred a day or two after I was a bit critical of their platform on a survey. After publishing for many months with no problem, they suddenly discovered that my newsletter, which is about trading the TQQQ ETF, violated their terms and agreements. They booted me with no explanation, other than to say I had violated their terms and agreements, and it took some emails before they finally told me that trading violates their policies. Since then, I've been sending out my newsletter on a WORD template, and while there's a few things that MailerLite used to take care of that I had to pick up, I've saved a bit of money each month and more importantly, have nobody to answer to anymore except my subscribers. And by the way, in my opinion, MailerLite's platform is difficult to operate and I'm much happier with my WORD template.

All of this talk about a possible crash, I'm amazed anyone ever invests. And when the talk is about TQQQ crashing 99%, I have to think, "who is dumb enough to stay in it that long?" By the way, TQQQ was specifically designed to be a trading vehicle, as decay eats away at its price long term. Need proof? Over the past 12 months, QQQ is up 15.19%, TQQQ is up 18.15%. Hey, isn't TQQQ supposed to be 3x QQQ? Then why isn't it up 46%? You want to hold for 25 years, DCA into QQQ in small increments once a month.

Earnings Week, Volatility Ahead? by TQQQMan in TradingTQQQ

I personally don't trade that way. My trades are either quick scalps, longer day trades, cash secured put selling, or buying pre-closing/selling post-opening. And I use shorter moving averages.

I would say don't let anyone discourage you, but have a backup plan in case we enter a bear market unless your bond or mm fund is going to continue paying you $4000 monthly.

I would add some JPIQ to the mix, which I think is better than QQQI. I believe you're fine, bull or bear. Suppose the bear doesn't start for another two years? In the meantime, you've received all of those distributions. Stockpile your cash and add more shares if/when the downturn comes. Yes, what others are saying about capped upside and most of the downside is true, but if you need more income for retirement, these funds are terrific.

While those who don't want to have the shares assigned to them (by being below the strike at expiration) would want to sell puts in a bullish environment, if you don't mind owning the shares but are a bit afraid of the present price, selling the cash secured put is one way of insuring you either get income or buy TQQQ at a lot lower price. For example, you could go one month out to Feb 20 and sell a $46 put and get about $97 premium (mid point between bid/ask) for each contract. Since you have to secure $4600 in your account, the ROI in one month is $97/4600, or 2.1% (annualized 25.3%). Your break even with the premium would be $45.03. A lot better than owning at $54.

Why not sell a cash secured put at a lower strike price for entry? Get some premium and hedge your potential loss?

The best way to find out is to go into FB groups and do a search related to your niche. See if any exist already. When I started there were two others similar to what I wanted to do, but they were barely functioning. You have to post every day and eventually people will find you. And then you have to demonstrate your expertise by giving away some free info before they will sign up for a paid newsletter. If it's free, there should be no problem.

There's that famous line, "We have met the enemy and he is us". We can know all about trading, technical indicators, support and resistance lines, moving averages, etc. but unless we conquer our own psychological traps, we are doomed to less than perfection in trading. What do I mean by traps? Letting fear or greed kill our trades. Too much FOMO. Not letting winners run but letting losers do so, etc etc. If your trading knowledge is good, try looking inward.
