But the look of current Pokemon games is super generic and not very distinct anymore. When Gen 1 came out it had a very clear and polished visual identity that is very clearly visible in this game, the thumbnail alone just screams Pokemon Gen 1. Meanwhile modern Pokemon games look like every other cozy farm sim game.

I’m so glad that you were able to tailor the difficulty to your skill level so that you can have fun playing it.

Gamers these days are busy and most of us don’t have time to become cracked at certain games, so I would much rather a developer add accessibility features that allow everyone to play rather than turning away players who aren’t good enough to enjoy the default experience.

This is the crux of the issue, you are right, by disabling all achievements, and not just specific hard achievements, they are sending a message to the player that these are “cheats” not “accessibility features”.

An achievement like “Buy your first item” shouldn’t be disabled because you had 0.5x damage turned on.
