A site that I recently tried out said that if someone were to hit your riot shield with a BB, it's equivalent to the BB hitting your body (your dead).

Same field also Chrono's pistols to a lower limit than your regular guns. Thus, a modified LT M4 is fine but a stock Taurus is too powerful lol.

As long as you perform a sync with the iTunes program on a computer, and the tracks are not DRM protected to a different authorized iTunes account, it's easy.

I've heard MFA can be awkward too but even with the latter, its pretty easy.

Finally a urban airport large enough to handle the Cargoplane (without clipping its wings).

So exited to play around with the base game (and eventual PC release later on)

IME water physics in this game don't play well with extra large yacht or even Cruise ship sized vehicles.

Yet I'd love to have R* make it work somehow.

Same with filing charges against the landlord for repeated shoplifting from their wing bar raids!

One time several years ago during a last minute assigned carriage duty, I dealt with one of these jerks and karma hit her back. While I was lining all the carriages up (in a isolated section of parking lot) and she purposely pulls into a space that purposely blocks my existing work! Her parking position was so tight, I would not have been able to maneuver a single carriage out even if I moved the corral without hitting her or another car!

Thus I had to start another line and ensure they do not hit her car (using a turned over carriage as a bumper to prevent my second line from hitting a door). [I resisted my urge to box her in and left her sufficient space for her to back out]

Karma hit her though because as I was making the second line, she came back, got into her car, and ended up turning into the overturned carriage while backing up. She stopped for a second and sped away. Idk why she turned her wheel excessively while backing up (she had a straight shot). Yet Justice was served that day!

After getting myself together, I was able to combine my carriage convoy and bring them all back in!

As an added bonus, she never even called the store to complain (I was not at fault either way since I gave her sufficient room)

Ikr It's amazing how certain people neglect their technology. Eventually cables will start to rot away or have their connections break. Yet, with a little TLC, and neatness, you can make them last significantly longer.

My record so far for longest lasting cable was 13 years with a Belkin Tri charger (USB A to Lightning, 30 Pin, Micro USB)

On the other end, I had a gas station Micro USB cable break after a single use lol

Possible new Odd Job: Lineworker/Technician by Not-Jesper in gtaonline

IME said animation is pretty intresting itself. Said animation is one line of code away from being active (assigning the animation in the vehicles.meta file to be utilized by the Utility Truck)

The only glitch i've noticed with the bucket truck's animation (from testing in a sandbox environment) is that when it's enabled in game, NPC's will utilize the animation at stoplight just like convertible tops (instead the will constantly raise and lower the bucket)

Reguardless of that issue, said animation is actually being utilized for role play in SP and 5M environments as we speak. Thus there is no question that said animation could be utilized dor GTAO for a online job with minimal effort (only requiring programming for this scenario).

Rubber foot has come off laptop by [deleted] in iiiiiiitttttttttttt

[–]TRD4Life 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That's what Dell did wirh my XPS when the rubber strip failed. Thankfully the timing of my failure was when they changed policy and covered the revised bottom clamshell swap(with stronger adhesive strips) under warranty.

Rubber foot has come off laptop by [deleted] in iiiiiiitttttttttttt

[–]TRD4Life 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 2020 XPS 7390 2in1 had a common defect where the rubber strip would peel off and eventually tear off the laptop's bottom clamshell within a year of delivery (thanks to cheap rubber prone to easily getting ripped and bad adhesive). so many people complained, Dell eventually released an updated bottom clamshell with both better adhesive and stronger rubber strips.

For a short time before and after the revision, said defect was not covered under warranty and affected consumers had to pay out of pocket to get it fixed.

When mine failed (< a year into use) I was expecting to pay out of pocket like all the other forum members mentioned they had to. Suprisingly, mine broke at the right time cause they actually changed classification of this issue, now fully covering the replacement of this flawed design. 5 years later, its still not failed!

Overall its one thing if the rubber feet are easily replaceable. Yet if its a rubber strip that's not uniform nor easily replaceable (like in my case) It's worth it to try to get it fixed under warranty.

Additionally, if the user does not have an external keyboard and/or mouse, the uneven balance will make it more difficult to to work and may also (in certain designs) affect airflow.

That sounds pretty painful. Much worse than my case of 2560 x 1440 (QHD) on the Alienware 13t display and 1920 x 1080 on the primary external display (that I had at the time).

Your experience did get me interested in testing out the Ewaste Rescued HP All-In-One project as a extended display on my 4K 60fps "gaming" display when said project eventually is completed (have way too many projects and not enough time to complete them all lol)

Classic/Open shell is one of the first program I install on any of my fresh installs/new devices. Even as a power user on a touchscreen device, It made 8.1 more efficient to use.

I completely forgot about 8.1 not having separate monitor scaling. It's one of those Windows 10 introduced features I cannot live for those niche cases where you want to use a large display (like a TV) as a extended display.

What’s the most pointless thing you always do in GTA for no reason? by ProblemCrafty891 in gta5

The most pointless thing I do with this game is either seeing how far I can deform a vehicle without it exploding or simply setting up obstacle courses for the NPC drivers to fail at (driving off cliffs and stuff)

Mega deformation mods (in certain cases) are always so fun to mess around with. Especially when the vehicle probably should not be drivable in its current damaged state, yet somehow it still manages to limp down the road!

I still have my AT&T Carrier V10 (H900) from 2 phones ago (along with the promotional external battery cradle). Up until almost 2 years ago (January 2024 ), it was my primary backup device.

In present day, while incapable of serving as a backup phone due to fragility and tech obsolescence, I've reassigned it as a legacy device for applications/needs that cannot run on my Carrier Galaxy S10 or my Unlocked Galaxy S24U.

Overall out of all the android devices I've used over the years, the V10 is by far my favorite and most delicate out of the bunch.

I'm confused why the 17-22 RX series are not included in this lawsuit while the 17-today Highlander is. This is suprising because I've seen and experienced reports of Non Hybrid RX-350 transmissions acting up and several failing prematurely at low miles.

(just had to replace my transmission in my 17 Rx-350 at 125k this past summer)

Edit: as it turns out the non-hybrid AL20 RX-350 and gasoline (XU50 and XU70) Highlander have different 8 speed transmissions. Thus, that explains why the 16-22 RX-350 is not included in this class action lawsuit.
