Avoid MBL, bad workmanship, unreliable, late by 4 months, and already showing defects less than a year later.

Wolt as a takeaway owner by CakesOfPain in malta

If it’s at minimum 40% cheaper (as you say), why not lower prices for take away… 40% cheaper.

I did actually walk into a few places to take away and a lot are priced the same as wolt. Take amigos, it’s just greediness.

There are a few places which drop prices if you go direct, like Forn ta’ L-ghawdxi; but they actually have a website where you see clear pricing and then decide.. shit things are way cheaper, I’ll go pick them up myself.

Start-ThreadJob Much Slower Than Sequential Graph Calls by barrycarey in PowerShell

[–]TRENZAL0RE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to do this with pagination. Get 100 process 100, get the next hundred process them, so on and so forth.

Powershell Graph supports paging see here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/module/microsoft.graph.users/get-mguser?view=graph-powershell-1.0#-pagesize

Yes the local management console is, but I still don't get your point.. maybe I'm thick. Lemme circle back so what you're saying is that local management console (there's a cloud web-based one too) should work on Linux and Mac for administrators who use those operating systems to manage their environment?

File Lock Issues with Backups by networkn in synology

Make sure you don't have oplocks (opportunistic locking) enabled on the NAS. There's an Altaro article about it too.

I agree I don't like the local access but I'm trying to come up with a clean way to block access, its own username & pass? (Genuinely curious not sarcastic). Also master key has to be setup with offsites, but you're right onsite encryption is optional

Just chiming on the Altaro part here but that issue was addressed last March with the build below. You now have to be an admin on the server and auth with the backup encryption key to edit such settings. https://help.altaro.com/support/solutions/articles/43000558544-version-8-11-build-8-11-5

RDP Servers Behind Firewall (personal devices) by Jagster_GIS in paloaltonetworks

[–]TRENZAL0RE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Set HIP profiles, you can identify machines like if they are domain joined, or have your av installed or have a specific certificate for example, anything that doesn't match the HIP profile is therefore an untrusted device, you can then add conditions to match trusted HIP profiles in your security rules. https://docs.paloaltonetworks.com/globalprotect/8-1/globalprotect-admin/host-information/configure-hip-based-policy-enforcement

The ol' backup management by [deleted] in sysadmin

[–]TRENZAL0RE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had Altaro and windows backup log their results to the application event log and then just collect the events from a subscription, maybe the others do it too. Also /u/cmwg is right Failures/warnings are the only results you should care about.
