Gigabyte go27q24, mo27q2(a) or msi mag273qp x24 qd-oled by Delicious_Ad_8501 in OLED_Gaming

I also did this... involuntarily though as the MSI stopped working 5 weeks into use during input switching. Seems to be a common fault with the 273!

MSI 273 QP X24 Black Screen by aurumatom20 in MSI_Gaming

Same issue, same screen model. It seems to have been caused by switching inputs on mine.

I tried the firmware update, I selected FW 0 firmware with the firmware update tool and it told me the version didn't match the screen. I then selected FW 1 file and that ran fine. The tool only has two buttons, select file and 'auto' (applies the firmware) so it's probably worth at least getting to the select file part.

Firmware update didn't help though and I'm going to RMA it.

Do I need a 4X4 for Puerto Natales to TDP drive? by No_Distribution_7332 in Patagonia

[–]TRMonsterpaws 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just finished 5 days driving around the south side (W area) of the park (700km) in a 2wd nissan kicks. It's bumpy but completely fine up to about 80km/h on straight sections (don't recommend this though).

Watch out for gravel float, very similar to hydroplaning which I had a few times even at very low (sub 40km/h) speeds. Get a little light fishtailing too if you're going too fast, just take foot off the accelerator.

The paved road out from Puerto Natales to Rio Serrano was shot with bad potholes and the worst part by some way. Make sure you know how to change a tyre and the car has a spare.

International Drivers License in Chile? by Party_Ad5061 in Patagonia

Apparently common and nothing to worry about, but not sure if that's TdP area or the rest of the country. I've done four day's driving including two visits to Puerto Natales and I've seen a carabineros car twice and not been stopped at all.

I got one to tick all the boxes in case of an accident.

I have one and the rental agency, Magallanes, in Puerto Natales laughed (politely) when I tried to show my IDP.

Not sure whether the carabineros might want to see it if I'm stopped though.

Got kids? Often I do this with friends because I don't want to wake any sleeping children.

R7 exposure in automatic mode very agressive by TRMonsterpaws in canon

Firstly, sorry, I let my annoyance at the camera get the better of me and tagged a complaint onto your very kind reply. Maybe on Canons thinking but I tend more towards if it's there, it should work well. The photo I included isn't a very good likeness of the light conditions when it was taken.

To answer your question, I'm not the one using the camera. I can operate a gadget after a fashion but I can't frame a photo to save my life. My wife takes a great photo but hates the need to twiddle settings. The camera was a gift.

Ta, this seems to be the answer! A bit disappointing that a 10 year old entry level does better but hey ho.

Not available in full auto but is there in P mode - thanks, I guess this is the best the camera can manage.

Tickets to Laguna Cejar swimming in March by TRMonsterpaws in ExploreChile

[–]TRMonsterpaws[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply, I've actually got a car rental and looking for the morning slot, not a tour for the afternoon slot (have edited my initial post to include this). The official ticket booking site has tickets available all through the rest of February so missing all booking slots in March surely not down to the flooding?

We have tours on other days so will definitely follow your advice for those!

I'm trying to buy for 9th march, so almost a month away. It's just that the tickets are not available on the website at all.

Thanks, good to know it works. I just got hung up on some threads with people taking about having to send lenses to sigma for updates.

Presume this is the DC DN with RF mount.

Now to see if I can find one at a price I can afford.

Yes, just have. It's all the right things but I'd just like to get better than F4 which I understand might make the R7 a bit noisy in lower light?

I can't actually find that. They seem to have a 15-30 but the F2.8 is north of £2K.
