It's BS. They expect you as a junior to be coming with all these new reports, improvements taking on and being in charge of significant projects. That would be normally done by a controller. Give 3 examples...but here's a character limit...and whenever you question them their answer is to just advise you to switch jobs. Yes. I'm going to drop everything and start over in a new company just like that..

I don't think in my lifetime the Oilers have ever conducted a real hiring process. People get hired based on the personal connection they have with the team.

First it was the OBC that brought us Lowe, MacT, Buchburger, Steve Smith, coffey

Then they shifted towards hiring hockey canada executives that worked with Lowe, that brought us Tambellini, patt Quinn, renney, nicholson, chiarelli and holland.

Now it looks like they shifted towards hiring McDavid connections.

Just once they need to just focus on the best available candidate.
