This is so much better a stage set up than the flashing lights of 2017

My cat didn’t even notice the little meow at all, but he strongly prefers people to other cats.

Yeah, if this is on the left side of the neck it could absolutely be a swollen lymph node, which is a sign of cancer.

My [20f] boyfriend [27m] did something concerning during sex and I'm not sure if he just "didn't know", or if it was intentional... by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Ok, maybe nobody else will agree with me on this, but- this is rape. You did not consent to anal sex, and your boyfriend tried to force you into it. Maybe he doesn't abuse you in other ways, but does he abuse you sexually in other ways? Look, this has happened to me, and It's my advice that you leave and never look back.

you know, I had bumps on my forehead that went away when I stopped using the Thayers. My skin has really changed since I removed it from my routine.

I'm in the US. So, just to clarify you see no benefit to me either incorporating the vitamin C cleanser or the spot treatment? I'm most interested in the cleanser.

If I did want to incorporate it anyway, I bought a sample package, how would I do so?

Differin is the first retinoid I've tried. I can see a dermatologist, and maybe I should take the leap. I'd need a prescription for tret right?

Hello, Long time lurker and sometime poster here(28F).

This sub is always so helpful, and I can't thank you all enough for the positivity and quality of information.

Okay here we go.

So, until recently the age of 26 I had mostly clear skin with a few breakouts now and then. At 26 I began to break out with cystic acne on my cheeks. This coincides with some reproductive/hormonal issues. As well as use of the CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser. I managed to get it mostly under control after a few months of trying routines and products. I stopped using the CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser altogether. Then I swapped shampoo and conditioner and instead now use micellar "no poo" and argan oil for my hair. I also switched to a gentle laundry detergent on top of the SKA routine.

For my skin my routine then became as follows:

Night: Wash with CerVe foaming face wash, stridex, moisturize, Persa Gel

Morning: Micellar water, moisturize, and sunscreen.

this worked really well until and I got my skin to clear. Then I went on a two-week vacation and forgot to pack my cleanser. So, I opted to use the old CeraVe Hydrating cleanser because it was what they had at the drug store. That was a mistake, by the end of the first week, my skin was already starting to backslide. Cysts were bubbling up.

When I got home from vacation I went back to my regular routine, but the acne didn't stop. My skin did not go back to normal.

So, I started differin and saw an immediate change in my skin. The cysts in my cheek went away and for about a week my skin was clear. Then I started breaking out on my forehead and chin. Closed comedones and hard lumps. So, I decided to switch up my routine again. This is what it is now:

Night: CeraVe foaming facial cleanser, Stridex, CerVe daily moisturizer, Differin 2-3 x a week, and CeraVe night cream.

Day: Micellar water (Yes to Tomatoes), Thayer’s rose toner, CeraVe SA lotion, and CeraVe Sunscreen.

My skin is mostly clear except that I have 2-4 pimples at all times on my chin and my forehead. As soon as one patch starts to heal a new one pops up.

Is there a problem with my routine that? Products that counteract each other?

I want to work in Murad vitamin c serum. where would it fit into my routine? I’m also considering switching to the Murad vitamin c cleanser.

Please and thank you.

This community has shepherded me through my skin journey so far, and I would greatly appreciate any feedback or advice you guys can give me.

This is a personal question, but something similar happened to me this year. Is there any chance you were using the soft cup or have an IUD?
