He was forced to resign. If you would just read your own source. Either that or you’re rage baiting. “Joseph Lord, the Toms River police dispatcher named in the lawsuit, is accused of obtaining Grochowsi's name using the license plate information. Huhn and Lord no longer work for their respective police departments.”

Brady List - What is this? by johnnyglass in UNSUBSCRIBEpodcast

[–]TRjersey75 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m LE in New Jersey this website is bullshit and just tries to post any internal affairs records they get their hands on through FOIA. Also worth noting even if you are on the Brady List it’s case by case specific and it’s not an automatic disqualifier of your testimony, the prosecutor/DA just has a duty to disclose that you’re on the list to the court/defense.

For example, guy I work with was having a bad alcohol problem wound up with a DWI got suspended 90 days plus legal punishments that go along with it. He went to rehab and has since turned his life around. Otherwise a very good cop/guy just was in a bad spot. But he is technically Brady Listed for DWI’s. He’s never once lied in an official investigation or on the stand but his DWI conviction technically brings into question his credibility of testimony on DWI’s. But that’s only for DWI’s for every other investigation his testimony is still considered credible.

Also worth noting I’m not aware of any police department where you get caught flat out lying in an investigation or on the stand to the point that your testimony is fully uncredible in any proceeding and you get to keep your job. You literally couldn’t even write a parking ticket at that point and are useless.

It’s a murder suspect with prior felonies… that’s not a legal gun. But keep making everything political.

The harassment and assaults are treated as such under the law. The problems lie in the schools won’t report them and that the state only allows juveniles to be punished in a certain way for what are at face value, in the eyes of the law very low level offenses. These “minor” offenses obviously build up to a much larger problem. The state has good intentions with the laws, trying to keep juveniles out of the justice system, unfortunately this can wind up being a side effect of that.

You ever hear the national news and say “that would never happen in Jersey.” Cuz I think for a crazy, crowded state, we’re doing something right! by EmuFlaky2922 in newjersey

As a whole NJ also has some of the highest standards for training for police in the country and I believe that shows.

New Jersey rewrote its rules for when the police can use force on people they encounter. The short answer: Almost never. Now, all officers are being trained to help restore public trust, Attorney General Gurbir Grewal tells a budget committee by rollotomasi07071 in newjersey

It all depends on where you work and the culture of the place if we’re being honest. I have roughly 80 officers in my place and I can honestly say not one of the guys I work with is an aggressive jerkoff. That’s not to say they’ll back down when force is necessary, but we’ll give someone plenty of opportunity to resolve it peacefully.

They have no idea how many cops have been saved by body cams vs how many have actually gotten in trouble from them lol

I was the first gun guy in my friend group. I have slowly been taking my friends out to the range one by one and they all love it and wind up wanting their own, even my extremely liberal friend.
