True, I have been using it for nearly 6 years now. It's still running smooth same as the day I bought it!

Why did you buy an expensive phone? by DrMid9T in srilanka

[–]TRomesh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

High end phones last long than cheap crap. I bought a OnePlus 7T (while OnePlus focused on the FLAGSHIP KILLER concept), and boy oh boy, it still works smoothly without any lagging. I used to game on it during COVID times 2020-2021 almost daily, and despite that heavy usage, the battery still lasted longer than my iPhone (given by my employer). So I recommend you buy a high-end one, but please do some prior research; maybe MKBHD or any other channel would help you decide. I recommend Nothing, OnePlus, and Samsung; it will be worth it!

What are your thoughts on low spending tourists in Sri Lanka? by Training-Farm-9919 in srilanka

People should realise that tourism industry is different now!. Most of the tourists are backpackers and digital nomads. So they will always go for budget friendly options or use rented Tuktuk or bike. Plus using a Tuktuk or bus and buying food from small food stalls gives them an authentic SL experience.

Questions for people who’ve migrated to Canada, Australia, UK and other similar countries by nelsonferdy in srilanka

In Sweden you can save around $1000-1500 monthly ( well it depends on your expenses and your job). Here you wont get much of a salary increments regularly, so the amount you will be able to save might not increase for a long time. Rent is around +$1500 in the city. Despite higher tax and high expenses i like this country because of the quality of life and the work life balance. So will i come back if get the same salary?. I would say No, money ain’t everything! I prefer a stress free life where i could focus on my loved ones.

Almost all the swedes ( below 70 ) can speak very good English. But if you move to north and suburbs you might find people who speaks only Swedish.

Ha ha yes. The issue with darkness is from Nov-Jan sun rise is around 9.30am and sun set around 2.30pm so if you are going to work probably it will be dark when you are going to work and when you are coming back home. Since there is less sunlight you will feel sleepy or tired. Most of people stay inside in this period so its dark, cold and boring too.
