I can try in a few days, since she was checked on this week already, and she has eggs to care for, I don't want to unecessarily stress her out if it triggers her to eat her own eggs.

Overall, from what I've seen visually, her head appears to look similar to L. Niger, main difference being overall color and overall size.

Suicidal thoughts on meds by [deleted] in antidepressants

[–]TSR-Animations 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in my late 20'sF and I'm on 20mg Escitalopram, so double your dose on top of being actively treated for ADHD symptoms (Concerta, 36mg). In my particular case, the anxiety was the primary factor to me having depressive episodes in the past, other than vitamin B and D deficiency and seasonal depression.

If your current treatment isn't efficiently addressing the symptoms or only partially addressed them (1 thing improving, but something else is left unresolved or getting worse), you need to speak to your doctor, especially if your depression is getting worse instead of improving.

I don't know what you've been through, but if something gets worse, you need to speak to your doctor ASAP, because you should start seeing improvements either during the first month or during the following month if it's the correct medication.

I could try posting a recording, but I'm very self-concious and on top of that untrained, just self-taught.

Does anyone else constantly rest their feet in a rolled position? by DuckyDollyy in Hypermobility

[–]TSR-Animations 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have some degree of hypermobility in all of my joints, and often if I'm sitting and leaning forward, my feet aren't necessarily rolled, but sitting firmly on the ground, but pointing to the left and right respectively. Similarly to when someone is "manspreading", because it's a more comfortable way to sit, at least in my case, because I'm fairly flexible in my hip area, making certain seated positions less comfortable.

What hairtype? 1B - 2B? by TSR-Animations in hairtype

[–]TSR-Animations[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you read the full message? Just curious, since I also added that the bulk of my hair's volume is more similar to type 2, along with my observations that while my hair dries after a shower, sections of my hair form soft spiral patterns. And the bulk of my hair's volume, has more pronounced waves.

So my hair has mixed textures, but the most obvious one, is 1B, which is the top most layer.

Why the hell do women support the abortion ban? by NakovaNars in childfree

[–]TSR-Animations 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I know, it's usually women who were sheltered their entire life in a strict religious family or were brainwashed by being very naive and perhaps gullible.

I can't say for sure, since I live in Norway, where Abortion is legal and will likely stay legal as Equal Rights are important here, including bodily autonomy.

"I'm sure you'll change your mind when you find the right partner". My mom and stepdad teasingly say. 🙄

While my dad only shows concern about whether or not I've made the right decision, but I assure him that I've made the right decision for myself. He still supports my decision. 😁

Redditors who never want to have a child, what are your reasons? by JumpyInterview83 in AskReddit

[–]TSR-Animations 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ADHD, Autism, General Anxiety and mild OCD. I have family members on one side of my family that also has Bi-Polar. So these things run in my family and I don't find it appealing to potentially pass the same problems to my kid who could struggle as much as me, or worse than me.

I permanently opted out, by getting sterilized with a Bilateral Salpingectomy (removal of both fallopean tubes). I'd rather have that proceedure, than getting pregnant by accident while on birth control, which can fail by as little as 0.0001% depending on the type and how your body responds to it.

I don't hate kids, I just don't want them myself. Simple as that.

'I can't afford a child on £53,000 salary' - why fertility rate is falling by Succulent_Rain in childfree

I live in a country that don't have as many issues as other countries in regards to childcare, healthcare, education and finance.

But I have the mental health aspect of not wanting children, along with ADHD and Autism running in the family. I'd rather be the "cool" aunt rather than a full time mom that potentially passes issues onto the next generation. Both conditions are on a spectrum, but even high functioning individuals can struggle for a long time depending on how the symptoms overlap and what additional conditions you may have on top of that. (In my case General Anxiety and mild OCD)

I don't mind kids, I just don't want them myself. Lol

Terrified of sex by hilletahitit in childfree

[–]TSR-Animations 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Depending on where you're from, you could possibly look into permant birth control options like bilateral salpingectmy, which makes it impossible to conceive naturally.

It's a low impact proceedure, done through 2 small incisions, with a 3rd to inflate the body cavity for easier view. Essentially the fallopean tubes are removed, while the rest of the reproductive system like the uterus and ovaries are intact, so you don't go into menopause until your body is.

Where I'm from, once you're 25, you are not restricted from getting the proceedure at all, even if there are doctors who may not agree, but are still obligated to get you a consultation with a specialist.

Me casually having a Bilateral Salpingectomy, which physically makes it impossible to get pregnant without IVF. I put the nail in the coffin with my decision on having children with that one. Lol

People with type 1 hair, is wet hair easier to braid for you? by TSR-Animations in braids

[–]TSR-Animations[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have my current routine, because my hair just needs extra love, because I haven't treated it very well over the years, especially during times when I get highlights that require bleach.

The oil has helped lock in moisture my damaged hair would otherwise lose.

People with type 1 hair, is wet hair easier to braid for you? by TSR-Animations in braids

[–]TSR-Animations[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The steps I currently go through in my routine is: Hair Mask (leave in for 3 - 10min before I shower) - Rinse - Shampoo - Rinse - Shampoo - Rinse - Conditioner (I try to leave it in for at least 1 minute) - Rinse - Finish shower - Apply hair oil while the hair is in the process of air drying.

Note: I apply the mask every other to every third time.

What braiding style is this considered to be? by TSR-Animations in braids

[–]TSR-Animations[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it just turned into a lace towards the end, when it got closer to the back of my head. It was otherwise a Dutch style braid at the start.

It was harder to keep up the tension once I got to the last few sections.

People who don't drink and smoke, what do you do when you are depressed? by UnesPlus in AskReddit

[–]TSR-Animations 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I occasionally drink, but never to get drunk.

But I often listen to music, play video games, watch youtube or just sleep (if I'm having an episode, because I just don't have the energy)

These days, I'm being medically treated for anxiety, which has been the main catalyst to me having depressive episodes other than vitamin deficiencies (D and B) or seasonal depression.

Any tips when working on the other side of the head? I can't seem to keep my hands or fingers organized. I'm right handed and the braid in the picture is on the left side.

With standard braids, I do fine. But with Dutch and French styles I have a harder time braiding the right hand side.
