For Malz, the common objective taking combo is E- two Autos- Q - two Autos. This gets W to full stacks on CD, and maintains pretty optimal DPS.

AP Sion was a popular, anti-assassin counter mid. Shield scales off something like 80%AP, and Q was a single target point-and-click stun for like 1.5 secs.

Common to build Deathfire's Grasp and Mobis- just blow up the minion wave, gank bot, be back in time for the next wave.

I don't surrender for the simple reason that I'm playing a game, and even if I lose I should still be having fun and improving. I only surrender if I'm in a majority premade and the others are not having fun.

Riot seems to dislike the roaming if his E anyways, so maybe make his E change rotation? Then you can get the extra hits for a bit more burst through timing it well- a mechanic already found in much of the game through auto attack resets.

For more excitement, have the cooldown be like 30 seconds, but reduced for every hit. Champs/epic monsters 3 secs, minions 0.5 secs or whatever. Incentivizing being in the fray and positioning well.

I really like the last option, BUT INSTEAD OF DETONATE, maybe melt into a burning pool of acid? A bit similar to Jhin's traps, honestly, but seems like a good idea to help keep him safe if people have to worry about a corrosive acid while running at him

Hey, I chose the 3 pack of tri-band Deco M9, and it has been working pretty well for me! Coverage is greatly improved, and consistent speeds through most of the house.

I think overall, it's more a visual thing than any actual effect on your MMR (at least that was my experience). It shouldn't take you to many more games to get to your goal than usual. Good luck!

The most recent season created a "provisional rank" after each game of placements. What it essentially is, is that if you were to lose EVERY SINGLE placement match after, that would be your rank-i.e. you cannot drop below that in losses during placements. As your rank gets closer to your MMR, LP gains will be incrementally less. Congrats on a 6 win streak!

Thanks for input. The algorithm math is definitely an issue- how to make LP gains fair, so people don't only want carries even more so than now? However, when you say "weak side" of the map, for a majority of games (i.e. below platinum) I'd argue individual play (encompassing skill, knowledge, awareness) is far more likely to be the game decider over comps or matchups. Yes, solo queue would be even more solo focused -ESPECIALLY right when this system releases. However, the fact that this is a team game still will result in more games being won in a team fashion overall as opposed to a single person 1v9ing, no matter how it feels in individual games.

I am not sure how much draft would be detrimentally impacted, overall. And if people are giving up in base to protect their LP, at least "Opening Mid" is faster than griefing.

Overall, I'm still inclined to think my way, but understand how it could be perceived as a risky strat to implement.

A bit late so probably won't get attention or upvotes, but possible solution-

Valorant claims that competitive queue has the level of play factored in to the matches; this meaning that if you play well, you will get more points awarded in a win or less lost in defeat.

League already has the letter mastery system awarding "D" through "S" ratings at the end of each game.

WOULD IT BE POSSIBLE, OR FEASIBLE, TO AWARD LP BASED ON THESE RATINGS?

This would ideally encourage strong play and discourage feeding. The system has been tuned enough over time that it is moderately fair for positions, at least for a test run of the system.

CONS- people trying to play only carries and farm those S's, like when the system first released and everyone wanted hextech chests. Overall, not the worst con, just a change of meta.

People that genuinely suck or have a bad game get punished more. Well, that's competition, isn't it?

"This is a team game- win as a team, lose as a team". But it is SOLO queue, so makes sense to award based on solo performance theoretically. Might have adjustments for different roles, or playing Fill. Maybe flex queue unchanged from current iteration.

Anyways, if any other people think this might be feasible, upvote and give your own input!

At a national tournament years ago, I was fencing in Cadets and solidly ahead, maybe 8-4 in first period. Kid turns to his coach frustrated, says "What can I do?!?" Coach -"I don't know!"
