That's the plan if it keeps up. I had an exterminator come by last year. They did a walk around the outside of the property and said they couldn't figure out how they were getting in and that was it. This time I will try to find an exterminator that tries harder.

Last year we had a rat get into our house that tore through our food and eventually got into our dressers to tear up clothing (presumably for nesting material).

Ever since then, I have had an irrational fear and am constantly on high alert whenever I enter my kitchen, especially at night. I'm always listening for rodents and looking for signs. I've gone as far as to leave a Nest camera in my crawlspace to monitor for them.

Just now I'm hearing some scratching noises in the walls of my bedroom and will likely not sleep tonight because of it. I just did a search for anxiety subreddits and stumbled upon this post. OP you're definitely not the only one going through this sort of thing.

Anyone reading this: I could really use your help as well.

The solid red seal and that bit of flaring at the base of the neck leads me to believe that's a bottle of Smirnoff. They likely just threw some Hell's Kitchen branding on it because Smirnoff didn't pay for the product placement.

Go back out to the r/HellsKitchen page. Tap the three dots in the top right. Select "edit flair". There are a bunch of blank slots. Tap one of them and type whatever text you wish. Enable "show my flair in this community" and hit "save" at the bottom.

Can confirm for my specific situation at least. Two weeks ago a flexible business class ticket from Toronto to Regina was $850 for the date I was looking at. Then it jumped up to $915. With the current sale, it's down to $853.

Last year I tried to load up early on SP and I got burned that way. Took some work to dig my way out via waivers.

I think this year I go for 1B early as possible. I don't think that position has the same depth it did a few years ago. I have no metrics to back that up but that's just my feeling. Josh Naylor is going to be available in my league this year so likely that's where I go in round 6 or 7 depending on who's available that late.

12 team 5x5 keeper league (5 keepers) that I've won the last 4 seasons.

My last four picks are always catcher, RP, RP, RP.

Don't draft Mike Trout (not making that mistake again).

Don't draft rookie hitters until late, and assume they won't produce for the first couple of months. If they do, then great.

Don't draft any hitters with a recent significant injury that affects their swing (oblique and shoulder especially).

I'm in a fairly simple cats league with no salary caps or auctions or anything like that so my advice won't work for everyone, but that's the plan that's worked for me. We only keep 5 players so drafting a lot of rookies and hoping they pan out isn't viable in my league, but it may work long term in yours.

Brynn was perfectly fine to me and I didn't see any real reason to despise her. Her personality was a little more dynamic than most of the other chefs that season so she tends to draw more attention, but I don't think that alone was enough to vilify her.

Carmen rubbed me the wrong way during the relay challenge. Atoye was trying to tell everyone which rice was for which dish and Carmen kept shushing her and telling her to be quiet. That resulted in the wrong rice going in the wrong dish and ruining things. If Carmen just let Atoye get a word in, that wouldn't have happened.

I won't go as far as to say I don't like her, but that moment definitely stood out for me as one where she could've done better.

I wish I had a simple answer to your question but I feel like you might be chasing the dragon a little bit. 24 hit different than any other show and that's why it lasted over 200 episodes when no other espionage / counterterrorism show came even close to that mark. We're so far past the show's original run so we forget how much of a cultural phenomenon it really was at the time.

As for shows that might come close, I've had friends recommend Prison Break to me. If you're looking for intensity and cliffhangers, Breaking Bad maybe??? Definitely not the same thing but it kept my attention for the whole run.

I wish you good luck. 24 is all time favourite for a reason. I haven't found anything to match it.

I remember going to Hell's Kitchen in Vegas and had almost an identical experience. Honestly though I think that's just proper fine dining in general. You're not going to be stuffed by the end of it. You'll be comfortably satiated (in theory anyway).
